  It was apparent the cabin had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. There were stains on the comforters, crumbs in the bed, pill bottles found in the night stands. The biggest thing was that there wasn't

  Sufficient salt, paper towels, no dish towels, and shampoo/ conditioner for a couple of people. When large groups are coming to stay, this should be provided. Also, the fire pit is inside a bunch of weeds that have not been maintained and the 2nd bathroom is located inside one of the rooms so this was inconvenient for 10+ people to make work. Cabin definately med a good clean. We left our much cleaner than it was and made sure we stripped the beds.

  - We can confirm that extra paper towels and kitchen towels were available in the kitchen, and shampoo/conditioner was placed on the bathroom shelf for guest use.
  - We understand the fire pit area could have been better maintained, and we’ll work on improving the weed control around the property.
  - The second bathroom is en-suite, and while this setup may not have been ideal for your group, it’s reflected in the property listing to ensure guests are aware before booking.

• Great Family Time Shared

  Our stay as a family was once again marvelous. We always enjoy our time together, sharing memories of times past and making new memories with our ever growing family. Bear Lake has become a forever wonderful week each year. of relaxation, enjoying the beautiful water, and of sharing each other's company. Fish Haven was very pleasant, quiet, and relaxing. The property was for the most part terrific. Would have liked more closets and hangers in each of the rooms that did not have a closet, only dressers were available. Discovered that this property was originally only a two bedroom, one bathroom. Those two bedrooms were smaller, but had closets. Also discovered that the garage was converted into two bedrooms, which wasn't stated in the property description. Moreover, the second bedroom in that once garage, could only be accessed by going through the first bedroom, which wasn't a huge deal for us, yet, it made for a rather uncomfortable situation at times. The separate entrances were nice and the king size beds in each of those rooms including the master bedroom were nice and comfortable. Sharing the bathrooms and entering the 2nd bedroom from what was once the garage was a challenge. The deck on the main floor was our favorite spot! We used it nightly (4 nights). It was a wonderful gathering spot to look out onto the lake in the distance and for cooking on the grill, and for just hanging out.

• Family Getaway

  Overall, the experience was great. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were great. The kitchen had all the utensils needed to make a great meal. Great views of Bear Lake, more than expected. There was a lot of outdoor seating. There is a lot of space, the Manager left Keurigs which was a nice touch. We would stay here again.

• Gorgeous location!

  This cabin comfortably fit our group of six, with lots of room to spare. The beds were super comfortable, and the updated decor was lovely. We loved being up in the hills above Bear Lake in Fish Haven. Great view of the lake, and we had a resident moose who came close to the cabin on two separate occasions. So fun! The outdoor space was wonderful, with a cozy couch on the deck, and a nice dining set where we enjoyed a meal. We also loved having AC. One thing to keep in mind with the layout of the place is that there is only the on-suite bathroom on the lower level and so the people who are staying in the other two bedrooms down there have to either go through the master bedroom to use it or upstairs to the one bathroom that serves the two bedrooms on the main level. Also, one of the bedrooms is accessed through another bedroom on the lower level. One thing that was really nice was that the lower level bedrooms have their own exit. There were a few minor issues, but we’re hoping the rental company will take care of them before the next renters stay there.
