  This place was the perfect host for our yearly family event that included several adults, teenagers, and children. The party barn was an absolute hit. The owner of the property was attentive, responsive, and extreamly helpful throughout the entire process. We will deffinatly be booking with him again in the future.

• Graceland Getaway

  We had our families Christmas gathering here over the New Years Weekend and it was perfect. The house was decorated, very clean, comfortable beds for all, great entertainment, along with TVs so we didn’t miss any football games. This place has it all and is close to groceries and shopping. Steven was a top notch host who promptly answered all of our questions. Definitely would stay again!

• Plenty of things to do without leaving the house

  We had 3 generations ages 4 to 64. Everyone had a great time and between the kids swing-set/fort, the party barn and all the outdoor seating areas we didn't have to leave for entertainment. It was a great place and the pictures were 100% accurate. Although there was shopping right around the corner, you feel like you're in the country. The drive was .20 of a mile long so you're set back in lots of trees. We saw quite a few deer in the mornings and at dusk; heard owls; heard frogs (the property has a small pond). Great place, we would go back.

  We stayed at Graceland for our state bowling tournament and boy what a place this is. We had 16 people at the house and it slept everyone comfortably and the game barn or the party barn was everything you need to enjoy yourself. We did have a couple of questions and host responded promptly and addressed a few items we had questions about. If you are looking for a place to meet up with some friends and enjoy a weekend or even a week retreat, this is your place. It is right off of one of the main streets of West Des Moines but the property sits back way off the road and you feel like you are in the country but you have everything you need a short few minutes away. We decided to have a taco night and we were able to go to Hy-Vee and a few other stores in less than 5 minutes. This place had deer running around on the property, it was just exceptional. There are a few items that needs to be attended to but what a wonderful place this is. We will be back this summer just to hang out and relax on a weekend.

  Awesome property! Warm, large, & inviting! The barn was a huge hit for all ages! Comfortable beds, all the amenities one could ask for, and simply gorgeous grounds! Thank you for allowing our east coast family to unite with all of our Midwest siblings and their children!
