Great view
3/5 The Condo is in a good location and has a great view on the lanai! Being on the ground floor has it's pros and cons. The bedroom windows face the sidewalk to the pool and parking lot. The condo did stay cool being on the ground floor even though it didn't have A/C. The condo could use some updates and paint. Beds where comfortable and washer and dryer were newer. We had a great stay!
Quiet and peaceful - well kept property. Ground floor condo!
4/5 Cute little condo at ground level and ample parking and pool/jacuzzi very nearby! Home is a little dated and no air conditioning- but we had access to many amenities - beach chairs and sand mats and really enjoyed the home. The portable fans were so critical in June - super hot and sticky and that little condo needed many fans to keep the inside temp tolerable! We didn’t realize there wasn’t central air.
We didn’t find the beach towels or extra bath towels until the day we left! So we bought beach towels and one chair was damaged - but still useable.
The nearby shops and restaurants were all very fun and easy to get too. Watch out for the rules of who can park in the Ali’i Sunset plaza parking - tickets are common!
Island Lava Java was our favorite nearby restaurant- make online reservations vey easy!
Once in awhile you could hear footsteps overhead or TV noise on lanais - but quiet hours seemed to be followed with respect.
We shopped at Costco and Safeway for groceries. Having a nice kitchen and a washer and dryer was super nice. King bed was comfy, had a foam topper, but sure was hot and sticky without the fans (and even with fans) it could be warm.
Buy Keurig single cup coffee pods! We bought ground coffee and didn’t realize there was no regular coffee maker.
Super fun!
PS we did a day field trip with a shelter dog at the Hawaiian Island Humane Society. (We didn’t have the dog at the condo) but had a super fun day outing with a dog!
Would Definitely recommend this condo to anyone that would love to enjoy the island just know that the summertime there is hot and sticky.
Beautiful view
4/5 Nice location, excellent ocean view with frequent whale sightings. Well stocked with dry goods. Needs a thorough cleaning, was a bit dusty.

Location and ocean view
Dolphins often visit this bay in the morning, so cool to watch from the lanai. Also, close to the action but not close enough to be noisy.
Cons
The unit is old and in need of repair. Some parts are rusty and sliding doors onto lanai and closets need fixing. Decor is outdated. WiFi is very unreliable. When we contacted the owner, she offered a partial refund, but then we never heard back after multiple attempts to reconnect. I wouldn’t stay here until they do some major repairs or unless you really don’t care.
Ocean front condo
5/5 A piece of paradise was found on the lanai at our condo. What a beautiful and relaxing view. We did not need for anything while staying here. Very peaceful area.
