Just a short drive from downtown Kona, and an ocean view you can't beat! We loved sitting out the deck and watching the waves and surfers. The house had everything we needed and was so cute and clean!

Would stay there again! Convenient ($15 Lyft, 12 min drive) to the tourist downtown but far enough to be quiet and calm. Lovely beach with snorkeling right across the street. Comfortable bed, good shower. Internet was good except cut out for one night. Kitchen minimal: no spices, few staples. Fridge needs to be pushed closed or else doesn’t seal completely. Like every Hawai’i house, need constant vigilance or everything is covered with little ants; that’s just Hawai’i, deal with it. Light and fan switches were mislabeled, hard to figure out. Tap water is very saline; we bought a few gallons of bottled water for drinking and cooking. There is AC in bedroom but we only used it one night; fans and open windows were enough even for we heat-fearing Seattleites. If I were going to change anything, it would be: get a toaster; get a $10 pour-over coffee device; fix the switches and labels in the living room. These are very minor complaints. This is a delightful property and you should stay here!
