  We enjoyed our stay at Rebecca and Dave's home. There is a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and three bedrooms, which was plenty of room for our 4 adults and three children under 13. It is perfectly located on the Kona coast, about a 5-minute walk to Magic Sands beach, and easy driving access to all of the sights on the Kona side of the island. We really appreciated that the owners, Rebecca and Dave were living on the property because it gave us a sense of security. They were very kind, friendly, and accommodating people. We had access to their round above ground pool for afternoon cool offs. They also had boogie boards, chairs, and plenty of beach towels we could take with us on our trips to the beaches. Dave has an excellent bar-b-que, and we had the choice of charcoal or propane. There also is a most excellent covered seating area with lights and fans where we could eat outside or just relax in the shade. The property is located in a residential area away from downtown Kona, so we had the experience of living in a residential area, and we were a 5km free Hele Bus ride to downtown Kona. There is an outdoor market in downtown Koan where we could purchase in season fruits and vegetables. Every morning, we had the wonderful experience of being wakened by all of the colorful birds. We were there in March, so it was sunny every day, with some rain overnight which was perfect.

• Great House on the Beautiful Kona Coast

  Our family enjoyed the house and its closeness to the beach and town. The birds in the morning were the first alarm clock I loved.

  The hosts were great and provide everything needed for the beach and snorkeling.

• Great Kona vacation

  My family and I stayed on this property for a couple of days. We had a great experience and the host was very pleasant to communicate with. We arrived around 8pm and Rebecca came right out to greet and welcome us. Everything was spotless and comfortable for 7 of us. The AC units in each bedroom made for comfortable sleeping. Very safe neighborhood. I highly recommend staying at this property.

• Great stay in Kona

  We are a group of 6 and stayed in Kona for 5 nights. Rebecca and David’s place was great! It’s in a great location and was really clean and had everything we wanted. Rebecca was so nice and offered to wash our clothes since the 2nd floor doesn’t have a washer/dryer. The pool was a huge hit with our kids (7&9) and the house is a short distance to a great snorkeling beach and the magic sands beach. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. There were also some body boards, beach toys, beach chairs, and umbrellas for use. The bedrooms all had AC and were comfortable, the living area could get quite hot during the day but we spent most of the days out and about or around the pool so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall great place to stay.
