5/5 We absolutely loved the location of the home. Beautiful outdoor deck, fire pit by the lake, access to kayaks, and fishing was so much fun! The home was stocked with all items we would need for cooking and grilling. We would definitely stay again!

Hi Linda, the homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they're accustomed to providing excellent guest experiences, and would like to share the following:
- The professional photos and description on our listing accurately portray our house on a tributary with access to Lake Chickasaw, a small, no-motor lake. They also show the silt fence installed to keep the silt at bay.
- It's important to note that we experienced record rainfalls and severe weather just before your stay, which flooded the nearby 4 ft dam and stirred up the waters. We communicated this with you, and you seemed to understand. Unfortunately, the weather and water conditions are beyond our control.
- Upon checkout, we found that the house was left in unsatisfactory conditions that required additional cleaning efforts and repairs from damage. While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, we also need them to abide by our house rules, and treat the property respectfully.
As is evidenced by the numerous glowing reviews, these owners are accustomed to providing outstanding stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many happy travelers.Great place to stay!!!

5/5 We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home!The owner reached out to us by mail and phone with instructions to check in, was always available for any questions we had.They provided a basket of assorted snacks and water for us along with beautiful fresh cut flowers in several of the rooms!They had a binders with instructions plus recommendations on places to see, things to do, restaurants.The Guys went over to Garland Mountain Shooting Range and the gals went to lunch and shopping downtown Canton and the Cotton Mill Exchange.We enjoyed cooking in their fully stocked kitchen and eating outside on the deck overlooking the lake and seeing the deer come up in the yard!Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!We would definitely recommend this place and enjoy coming back to stay!Thank you for being wonderful hosts!
