• Very disappointed

  Arrived on Friday afternoon to find the only entry was through an open garage door. Used the entry code given by owner - security alarm went off and police soon arrived. That evening, after we went to supper, we found that the garage light didn't work, had to use our car's headlights to see key-pad to get into the house.

  The next morning found there was no hot water to take a shower. The owner texted that evening while we were at supper to ask if we would be leaving earlier than the designated checkout time as she had another booking that evening. That night, my wife fell over a torn section of carpet on the floor of the darkened garage. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

  On the day of check-in, we encountered an issue with the remote control for the security alarm, which has since been resolved. While the home’s security is important, I apologize for the inconvenience this caused. Regarding the garage light, it is controlled by a switch inside the house, and I will ensure that it is in proper working order for future guests.
  
  Hot water is always available, and I regret that you experienced any issues. If we had been notified during your stay, we would have addressed it immediately. I encourage guests to reach out if anything is amiss, and I apologize that you didn’t have the experience you expected.
  
  Regarding the inquiry about an earlier check-out, I was simply trying to accommodate the next guest, who was on storm duty and had a tight schedule. However, I understand this may have caused you concern, and I’ll follow the regular check-out policy in the future.
  
  Finally, I will inspect the garage carpet, as guest safety is a top priority. Again, I apologize for any discomfort this may have caused. Your feedback is valuable, and we will use it to improve the guest experience.

  The owner left the plastic wrapping that the mattresses are delivered in on the beds with the sheets placed over. It was hot to sleep on plastic. The front door was not accessible - blocked and locked by a door -

  -We sincerely regret the impact the plastic wrapping on the mattresses had on your stay. This was an oversight, and we will be removing it and adding soft, washable covers to ensure a more comfortable experience.
  -The front door is intentionally blocked, but there are three other accessible entry/exit points, including a ramp. We’re sorry if this caught you off guard and will be updating our listing description and pre-stay instructions to make this clearer.

• Great Location in Thomasville

  The house is dated but well kept and spacious and in a beautiful neighborhood. The living room and family room both offer plenty of space for family board games or watching the game.

  Also, great location in proximity to downtown Thomasville. Very convenient for running downtown to shop, eat, or see a show.
