  The cottage is wonderful inside and outside. House was super clean and extremely well appointed, there was nothing we needed that we didn’t have. Plenty of cooking utensils and the appliances were clean, super nice, and easy to work. We cooked in 75% of our trip and we never do that. Bedding was as comfortable as home and smelled fresh. Bathrooms were clean and the master bath was luxurious with the shower / tub setup. House was roomy and had plenty of space to stretch out. TVs were perfectly placed and had the right setup for us to watch anything we wanted. Living area TV was super sized which was nice from a viewing standpoint. Loft was very nice even though we didn’t use it but at least it was clean, roomy, and cool up there. Having a pull in parking spot was nice and the luggage / grocery elevator was excellent. Back deck was one of our favorite spots and best view for the sunrise. Gas grill was in almost new condition so that cooked great. Plenty of comfy seating with places to kick your feet up. Eating area on the back deck was used and enjoyed. The fire pit area was nice as was the river dock. We didn’t swim but certainly could’ve with the provided lowering apparatus and ladder. Honestly the house was the best thing about our entire trip to Savannah and we’d stay here over and over again. The pictures do this house some justice but trust me when I say they don’t do it 100% justice, it is even nicer than the pics allow for. Will be back!

• Beautiful Property, Great Location

  The property is spectacular. Situated on a tidal river in the back with a dock that apparently one can swim from. We didn’t swim although the weather was hot enough to swim. There is a nice deck to sit on and catch the breeze in the evening or mornings. The location is far enough away that it feels secluded but is surprisingly close to town so making the commute into downtown is a breeze. The house was clean and well appointed. Beds comfortable and kitchen has everything needed to prepare a meal. The stove is chef quality with a hood. The best amenity is the bathroom. The shower is probably the nicest shower I’ve ever seen. Good pressure and various settings. Host provided good detail on how to enter and the basics which helped. There is a large carport with a bathroom which I think would be great to wash up after fishing without having to go inside. There is an outside shower for the same purpose. The neighborhood is nice and is close to restaurants and grocery stores. I would stay here again without hesitation. Very comfortable home.

  We loved staying here! It's so beautiful and peaceful. The house is done incredibly well and nicely appointed amenities. It's close to everything...town, Tybee Island, and great places to eat. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. We will be back!

  Could not have been more perfect to have a river retreat after exploring downtown Savannah and beaches. No complaints at all, ideal for a mother, daughter and puppy trip. Felt very safe and private.

  We love the house it was so relaxing quiet. Very enjoyable sitting outside as well as inside. We made use of the outdoor grill the beautiful kitchen. Bedrooms are large as well as the Bathroom in the master bedrooms. Very comfortable
