5/5 We Loved the cabin - it was just perfect !!!!
Second time almost a charm
4/5 First let me say we stayed at the Wisdom cabin in February of 2023. The only hiccup we encountered was the water issue.
We returned less than two months later, and the water issue was resolved, and we enjoyed hot showers.
Now, about our second stay. It begins great and remained throughout the stay except for one tiny problem that occurred and that is the A/C went out on the third day. I am not kidding; I couldn't make it up even if I tried. The temp changed from cool to seasonal warmth and so did the A/C. Our guests contact person Brian responded by phone and eventually came over when we returned from our outing, to try and resolve the matter. Unfortunately, none of the simply fixes worked and Marcelino from our previous stay came and tried to resolve the matter as well.
The A/C guy would not be available until the day of our leaving.
Now, I told you what happened, but let me be clear, things like this happen unfortunately for us we just had it happen to us twice at the same cabin.
Also, Brian and Marcellino did try to get it resolved and were very apologetic about this problem.
Just to let anyone know who reads this, although we would love to give Wisdom cabin a five, we will give it a four not because of the owners or guests contact, because they tried their best. The area was lovely and so was our visit and the weather was cooperative during the last part of the stay.
The four is because we were 0 for 2 but hopefully things are fully functioning and, in the end. 'We would stay again'.
Marcellino and Brian were kind, respectful people who wished our stay would have been excellent and not just good.
So go enjoy Clayton, Georgia and stay at Wisdom Cabin.

Hidden Gem in Clayton
5/5 What a fantastic, relaxing retreat! The cabin was spotless and charming. Thanks to the layout and decor, it feels spacious. The bedding, pillows, and beds were incredibly comfy. Leave the windows open if possible and enjoy the songs of local birds. The deck, fire pit area, and hammock were my favorite places to relax. The host had the fire pit area all set up - an extra special touch. Pro-tip: arrive during daylight as navigating to the location the first time can be tricky. Highly recommend and would stay again!
