  We loved the house and the location and had a wonderful stay. It's very spacious. Our only complaints were 1) the bathtub in main, upstairs living area is EXTREMELY slow to drain. There must be a clog but no plunger to try to free up the clog so water/soap scum sat for quite some time. Plus there are several broken floor tiles in this bathroom with missing grout that should be repaired. 2) A few light bulbs were burned out in the downstairs living area with no replacements available. 3) Found a broom but no dust pan or a vacuum, which made daily cleaning of the main living area more difficult. And lastly, we would've preferred a larger fire pit area with more chairs to accommodate a larger group.

  The cabin has a good layout and was clean and comfortable. It just needs a little maintenance.

• Renewal of Wedding Vows

  A weekend trip with family for a 50th Wedding Anniversary. The cabin was spacious and able to accommodate our family of eleven nicely. Plenty of beds and bathrooms with toiletries and bathroom linens.

  One tv in the cabin with 4 remotes requiring some time to figure out how to use it. However, once that was accomplished, it worked fine.

  WiFi was very elusive which was a great disappointment.

  Our guest contact was also. I emailed him twice before our stay with no response. After we checked in, I tried to email and call him, but there was no service so I could not let him know about the wifi and a leaky faucet in the kitchen. The “outside” suite was nice, but the window unit would only blow cold air, so we turned it off. However, it sounded like it was coming on all during the night, so we finally unplugged it.

  The two grills on the premises were not usable as one was rusted and the other was covered with mold. Not many pieces of cookware available and there was no can opener there. Coffee pot held 5 cups, so we had to make several pots of coffee. Pool table with one pool stick. Dart board with a couple of darts coming apart. Fire pit area was small. There were other cabins in the area, with one within 20-30 feet behind us, so we did not get that “secluded mountain”feeling.

  We had a great time celebrating together and did not let these things spoil our trip, but I would not stay there again.

• Great Getaway

  The location was perfect property spacious. Wish the pots and pans were a little more updated however cabin had everything that was needed

• Beautiful Get Away

  We stayed at the Round About and it was very nice. Pros: Lovely space for our large group with plenty of beds/pillows/seating and even a fun game room. Great kitchen with excellent appliances. Clean linens and owner provided basic hotel style soaps/shampoos and even towels and wash cloths.Cons: There did appear to be mold in the upstairs bathroom on the light/fan combo. The grills provided for outdoor cooling were filthy and rusted. So our outdoor cooking plans fell through. Overall genuinely a beautiful spot with access to tons of local views and activities, including being very close to Helen.
