Beautiful home in a not so beautiful area
4/5 The home was gorgeous, the owner was wonderful and very accommodating. We had just about everything we needed. The beds and furniture were comfortable, and everything was decorated beautifully. Our main complaint was the area. This home is not on the nice side of town. The area is being gentrified, but it’s not there yet. Several Uber drivers told us to not go outside and that we were staying in the wrong part of town. That being said, it was quiet, and we didn’t have any issues, but it was a bit nerve-wracking.

5/5 The location was convenient to the airport and downtown area. It is in a neighborhood that's undergoing gentrification, but it's mostly quiet and we did not have any issues. The house is spacious with open floor plan and provide all basic needs.
The owner is very helpful and pleasant.
Adorable home in up and coming area
4/5 We loved everything inside this house- the features, design, attention to detail. The host went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. K-cups, tea, snacks and goodies- she truly thought of it all. She was easy to reach and a pleasure to communicate with. We had adequate space for 2 adults and 4 kids, and the furniture was comfortable.
There were only 2 downsides…First, while the street was quiet, you are right in the middle of an area that’s being gentrified. We didn’t want to walk anywhere, nor did we want to sit out front. That being said, we didn’t have any issues, so I think the house is safe, it just made me nervous.
The second issue was the smells. There were multiple plugins going strong, along with really strong smells used on all laundry and fabrics. If you’re not sensitive to scents, you will be fine. But for me, I had lots of headaches and congestion (usually within 15 minutes of entering the house) and the smells remained even after laundering the bedding. We finally ended up buying sheets, but unfortunately the comforter and blankets still had the strong scents.
