  • Rental Beware

    My family and I traveled many miles to say goodbye to a loved one. Some of us had not seen each other since before COVID. No clear instruction given to enter or exit the property. No WIFI password insight. House was not very clean. Floor not swept in areas, dirty mirrors.

    I received a text from the host, which read as: “Please be advised that only 4 adults should be allowed near the home. We will have to charge you $50 for each extra guest. “We will Allow one hour to encourage other guest time to leave. Please follow the policy. Thank you.”

    Total number of people on property: 5 - Over 25, 4- Over 10, 2 over 3 and a 6-month-old.

    One of my guests invited us to their vacation rental, which was not as spacious.

    We did not stay the whole three days because everyone returned home early except for the group who rented a room in a hotel. Having visitors to visit at a hotel is not as comfortable as visiting at a house.
