  We booked this home for an entire week while we moved my daughter into Beacon College. Had a fabulous time at the home and enjoying all the amenities as well as exploring the neighboring towns. Very convenient location to the Villages; Mt Dora, Leesburg, etc. We will be booking again.

  Asked Agent if pool and dock were in good shape due to Debby Storm days ahead of reservation--were told all was okay. Arrived and the pool was green with algae and floating ?? on top of water--the pool was one of the major reasons we rented. The pool person was dispatched and he said he had to shock the pool and it would not be back to normal for 3-4 days--we had a 3 day visit so we left and notified owner and Agent. Got no partial refund of money since we only stayed one day and had to leave due to actions that could have been prevented. Owner wanted to give us free days later on--told him we don't trust the status of the residence--and packing, driving and unpacking and packing up again isn't worth their rental.

  Hi Linda, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  -The pool was in swim-ready condition when you arrived, but overnight rains caused the water to become slightly green. We immediately contacted the pool service, and they treated the pool promptly. Typically, the pool would be usable within a few hours after treatment, but the technician gave an unusually long estimate of 3-4 days.
  -We wish you would have contacted us again after the pool technician's visit, as we would have immediately followed up with the pool company to resolve the misunderstanding and ensure you could enjoy the pool during your stay.
  -The offer of additional free days was extended as a gesture of goodwill, but we understand this did not meet your expectations.
  We appreciate your feedback so we can continue to improve and help this homeowner provide guests with the 5-star service they are known for. We hope to host you again soon!

  Lovely home that was quite equipped. Our family had a relaxing stay. Highly recommend the home as it made you feel like you were in your home!
