5/5 The cottage was even better than we expected, we are seasoned vacation property renters and have seen some truly horrible things in the past. This time we could only find a couple things to nit-pic,..the coffee maker has seen better days, the ‘under counter’ kitchen sink was loose and dropping down, the shower rod needs replaced in the master bathroom, also,..very low water pressure throughout the house. All relatively minor things.
The cosmetic condition of the cottage was really great, super clean, smelled nice, lots of small household items were available for use if needed, we would gladly rent this property again in the future if returning to the area

Cleanliness a serious issue
1/5 If i could give 0 I would. The home is not maintained well at all. Broken furniture, faded paint on the exterior, the outdoor furniture filthy and or broken down .. unusable. Wifi was unavailable until our third day in and that is when the handyman also showed up to do the repairs.. the worst was the dust a/c vents and level surfaces were COATED in a thick layer all reported to the host and Evolve the company managing the home all I heard was that I would have to pay for the additional cleaning.my son and I have upper respiratory issues asthma and bronchitis so was really bad for us.. in addition the day we got there the cleaning crew had to circle back because the linens were DIRTY all they did was make the beds from the previous stay.. just absolutely poor .. I wish I could add pictures

Hi Tamara, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-The "broken furniture" involved a few handles on one of the dressers, which the handyman addressed as soon as possible.
-The outdoor patio furniture had some sand due to the proximity to the beach, but the cleaners dusted it off at your request.
-The Wi-Fi issue was due to a problem with the internet provider, and a technician was sent out as soon as possible to resolve it.
-While we apologize, the cleaning team was unable to address the special request for additional dusting immediately due to the busy season, but a deep clean is scheduled.
-Fresh and clean linens are always put on during cleaning.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!
