  • Perfect with two teens and our old dogs

The property was well stocked, and the layout worked well with our small group. The fenced backyard was great, and we took lots of long walks through the neighborhood. Great washer and dryer helped ease the sadness of ending our vacation when we were able to unpack without having to do laundry when we got home.

  • Close to Everything

We were about 15 minutes from all major attractions St Agustine has to offer, museums, the castle of San Marcos, the governor's house, the catedral, and more. The house is small, equipped with all the basic needs, ideal for a couple or small family. The neiborghood was quiet and safe for my daily walk, it is located in the historic district with many older architectural homes, I liked it.

  • Front door lock and alarm

overall, it was pleasant and a good location - the major negative was the electronic door alarm randomly going off during door usage - the property manager admitted they knew of this and attempted to "correct" it, to no avail - it went off unexpectedly everyday, multiple times per day when using the door - I suggest they replace the lock with a new, reliable lock.

    Manager's Response:

Hi Thomas, thanks for letting us know about your stay. After going over your feedback, the homeowner wanted to address the items that you mentioned:
"Thank you for your feedback. We had experienced the lock alarm sounding when our 3-year-old grandson was playing with the lock but was not aware that it was sounding under normal usage. We have replaced the unit with a new one, and we apologize for the inconvenience this caused. We hope you will stay with us again on a future visit to St. Augustine!"

  • In need of a deep clean and refurbishing

I rented 3 homes for a family get together. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely and the Christmas lights are perfect for the season. This property was dated and in need of a deep cleaning and refurbishing. There was a heavy odor of air freshener that didn’t quite cover the moldy smell. Overall - not what I expect from a VRBO rental.
