  The listing doesnt specify that the walk to the beach is a long one on asphalt and a board walk covered with sandspurs and smilax (thorny vines). This place is less than pet friendly. The fenced in area was only large rocks with weeds and sandspurs growing out of the rocks and the firepit. The grass outside the property also has sandspurs. So absolutely no place to walk a dog without injury. Old dog poop in what little weeds that were covering the rocks got it on my shoe. Screws exposed in the wood gate that ripped my shirt when I had to reach over to unlock it. The entry way is a literal cut of Plywood to walk up to the front door. The floors were so dirty including sandspurs and old dog food from the previous tenants. Having toddlers pick up old dog food and having to wear shoes inside is not ideal. Sandspurs stuck in the curtains. Bed linens and couches covered in dog hair. Stairs are covered in vinyl flooring, very slippery material for dogs to walk on. My poor dog fell down the stairs and refused to move out of the 3' x 3' landing at the front door. Causing my son to cut his stay short and take our dog home. No ice maker or filtered water from the fridge. A small 16 cube ice tray that doesn't fit in the freezer is the only option. A baby gate at the top of the stairs was really nice but having on at the top of the next flight of stairs would have been better. The luggage lift is very nice. Overall the building is beautiful. • We LOVED Purple House

  I spent months planning a beach trip for my 11 y/o Great Dane and we were sold on this house as soon as I saw the listing. The private fenced yard is a huge plus, outdoor shower and a hose, and there was a great solution for my old man navigating the stairs! It really is just a 2-3 minute walk to get to the boardwalk. This beach access was wonderful, large amount of “beach” and not crowded. Beautiful shells and pelican watching. Ms. Kristie, guest contact, was absolutely delightful and checkin was as simple as could be.

  It needs more dishes and pans to cook. The views of the beach are not there. A little longer walk than advertised. The lift to the floors is great. Indian pass is a great location. I’m not going to mention the guest contacts name because I’m not sure if she wants that but she makes the trip much better. The dryer wouldn’t dry the towels so she drove thirty minutes to make sure we had clean towels. She is the sweetest. Overall good house but some of the statements about location and views may not be accurate.

  So we had a little family gathering our host was amazing. The property was amazing. Was a little bit of a walk to the beach about 300 yards. I would recommend having a wagon if you’re gonna take several items other than that it was an amazing stay, and I will definitely go back there again, thanks for everything

  This house is absolutely breathtaking! All of the furniture is beautiful, blackout curtains throughout, plenty of room and decorated beautifully! Short walk to the beach and the host is absolutely wonderful! We will be back 😊
