• Quite neighborhood, great spot with kids

  We had a great time, the neighborhood was very quite but a short drive to groceries. One thing to note is the closest beach (englewood) is closed for public parking since the hurricane. The closest beach is a 25 minute drive.

• Our Stay was Just OK

  Stayed 2 weeks - 1 week with family visiting. Here are our pros and cons...Pool was the highlight. Loved that there was a safety screen too for little ones. Heater worked great. Was concerned as the pool looked a little green but pool guys assured us was some staining but water was clean (and it was). FYI, the pool lights are still not working so no night swimming.House is definitely a bit well-worn and showing its age. Felt like overall some things could have been cleaner ... Luckily we prefer showers - would not use tubs. (Also could use some towel hooks on doors as very few places to hang bath towels.) Windows/screens were dirty. Master BR air vent was so coated with dust - I bought a swiffer to clean it as i did not want to breathe it. The grill had also not been cleaned in a while - no grill brush. We dealt with it so we could cook out.That said, the neighborhood was quiet and pretty well situated for getting places, parks, trails, stores, etc. House was well equipped for beach and pool use. (Make sure to check beach status as many beaches are still closed from 2024 hurricanes.) Loved having the washer/dryer. It would have been nice to have guidance on the lake in the backyard - it wasnt clear on whether it was OK to walk down there or not. Also not sure about TV in living room, there are 7 remotes but we had trouble getting any stations... Some of these things were minor - more observations and management company was responsive.

  Hi Diane, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  – We had the pool light inspected and, while we’ve chosen not to replace it, there is outdoor lighting available to assist with night swimming. Pool lighting isn’t advertised, but auxiliary lighting is provided. We use professional photos to ensure the listing accurately reflects the space, and we’re considering adding towel hooks as a future update.
  – We’ll take care of the windows and screens during our next deep cleaning. The air vent in the primary bedroom was checked and found to be clean, but we’ve asked our cleaners to keep an eye on it moving forward. The tubs have now been thoroughly cleaned, and we’ve replaced the mats too. A grill brush is now available for guest use, and we’ll make sure the grill stays well-maintained.
  – Checking beach closures before booking is a good idea, as conditions can change. The remotes can be found by the TVs, and are in working order. Our team was available to assist, and we wish you’d reached out so we could’ve helped immediately. The community lake is available for guests to enjoy, as noted in our listing.
  The homeowner takes great pride in creating a welcoming environment for guests. Thank you for your feedback, and we’ll continue working to ensure a positive experience for all future visitors.

  This was a great property to stay at. It was nice that the master suite was on one side of the house and the other 2 bedrooms and bath were on the other side. The pool and patio were great spaces to hang out and enjoy the sunshine.

• Perfect for my family, just a few hiccups

  The house looks just like the pictures. Perfect fit for me and my husband and children. Unfortunately, the pool was very dirty and green upon arrival. I had to skim it before we used it. The outside lights did not work around the pool aside from the porch light, and the front entrance lights did not work. Bulbs probably just need to be replaced. The pool lights inside of the pool did not work either, which made it scary for my kids when we attempted to swim at night. The jacuzzi tub in the master suite was dirty and the jets and plug had a lot of calcium buildup. I had to clean it before using it, and didn’t feel comfortable using the jets.

• Great clean and quite!

  Communication was good and all codes were sent before we arrived for seemless entry. Property was a nice size. We had 5 in our group. Property was clean and updated.Our only issue was the pool needed some love. They came to look at it the day before we left so we missed a few days of pool use. To be fair we stayed between Chrismas and New Years. Roughly 20 min to a beach with a lot to choose. We enjoyed Boca Grande a lot.We all would stay again.
