Plenty of activities abound just outside your front door. Drive 15 minutes to Charlotte Sports Park to watch the Stone Crabs play or book a tee time at one of the beautiful golf courses in the area. Just across the Peace River is the beautiful town of Punta Gorda with parks, stores, restaurants, museums, and more.
If you didn't bring your own boat along, there are plenty of marinas nearby where you can rent a boat for your stay. You can also visit companies like Beach Road Watersports to rent jet skis, kayaks, stand up paddleboards, and book tours or cruises.
Plan a day trip 1 hour north to Sarasota or 45 minutes south to Fort Myers for additional entertainment, museums, shopping and more. There's no limit to the fun that can be had with friends and family in Port Charlotte!
Good location, good view, good library but very dated furnishings, a few cockroaches and a bit over-priced. Price is worse for 2023 when prices double. We enjoyed our stay but will not return because of host’s reaction to problems. Very friendly until one has a problem. He then either ignored them or become angry as he did when asked why house did not have a toilet plunger.

Peg and Paul are great hosts. The property was everything it was advertised to be. The house was extremely clean and is located on a very quiet street, close to everything Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. Hope to stay again.

We so enjoyed our winter in this lovely spot. Everything wasspotless when we arrived and were greeted with fresh flowers,a bottle of wine and brownies! Our hosts, Paul and Peg, go above and beyond to make certain everything is perfect. Thank you!Chris and Pam
