• Perfect for our getaway

  The property is just as advertised. The beds were comfy and shower water pressure was great. The property management team was quick to reply to questions I had. It was perfect for our dogs with walking paths. We utilized the community pool, hot tub, fitness center and golf course. Close proximity to orange beach and the naval base. Had the pleasure of seeing the blue angels air show.

• Don't do it

  I am only doing this review to help people who want a quality place & an enjoyable vacation. It's so hard to find a great place to stay for your money, site unseen and no knowledge of the area.

  First, after traveling 10hrs, we got there and could not get in. Texted & called the contact # and took about 40 min for a response. The lady first accused me of using the wrong code. Then accused me of not using the key pad right. Thankfully, the owner was able to unlock it remotely. No apology, other than "I'm not sure why it's not working, it worked for the house keeper earlier". Later that evening, our code magically worked. We figured they re-programmed the correct code.

  Second, this place was DIRTY. Hair every where, including the bedsheets. I'm not sure if it was dog hair in the sheets, but the bathroom had long black hair everywhere, it was obvious it had NOT been cleaned. The master bath bath mats were so black/dirty, I had to throw them in the laundry. Couch was filthy, black stained & worn.

  Third, ANTS. Ants in the kitchen. Tiny, little ants and fruit flies. Fruit flies also in the bathroom upstairs.

  Fourth, we used the garage entrance and the garage stunk so bad. Turns out, the last day, we discovered one of the trash bins had maggots in it. We had to take the trash bins out for trash pick up, as instructed.

  Pros: pool, bikes, streaming service on TV. The condo area itself was quiet and felt safe. I appreciated the security at the gate. I would not stay here again.

  Perdido Key was a joy. We found so many things to do and kept ourselves entertained all of the time. The property was clean and the shuttles and beach club made our beach time effortless. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

• Beautiful property

  We loved our stay at this home! Beautiful and safe property. Can take the tram to the beach but it’s also close enough to walk. There is a public beach access right by the beachfront club too, so had space to set up our tent. Loved having the garage to throw our beach stuff in at the end of the day. Great stay for family, baby, and pet.

• Great location and all the amenities

  This location at Lost Key is perfect. Great view of the beach from the back screened in porch. Easy shuttle access to pool and to beach club.

  It is clean and has all the kitchenware you need. Also, it has a good selection of beach and pool toys/chairs/bikes/etc.

  The complimentary beach service (4 chaises and 2 umbrellas) is a fantastic perk.
