• The great place need updating

  The place had a lot to do several pool, golf cart, place to fish, and tennis courts. Close to the beach. The townhouse needs updating. It was not a enough utensils for 6 people. Need more cookware as well. The couch had dog hair on the couch covering and the kitchen chairs were stained. Bring extra tissue and trash bags if you are staying several days. The walls need washing and the place can use a deep clean. Overall the place wasn't horrible but can use a little TLC.

• Needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning

  The place was not very clean I vacuumed and wet mopped and the water was black I did that the day we arrived. It also needs a lot of maintenance work. Besides this it’s not a bad place great location to beach and stores.

  "Hi Brenda, thank you for taking the time to review your stay.
  -We apologize if the unit did not meet your expectations. Our records show that you checked in on July 4th and sent us pictures of a mop bucket with dirty water on July 6th. We have a dedicated team of cleaners who does an excellent job - we would not know what happened in the two days you were there that caused the water in the bucket to be dirty. We did, however, offer to have someone come and mop the floor again for you but we did not receive a response to that offer.
  -Also, you sent us several pictures of dings and scratches on walls and
  baseboards. We believe these are consistent with a place that is regularly
  used by the public and repainting and patching would normally be something that is done at the end of the season, not in the middle of it. We appreciate your feedback.

• DO NOT rent this unit!!!!

  The advertised golf cart is a sham, I have called twice about it but so far it hasn’t been fixed. Audrey has been absolutely no help in resolving the matter. We rented this unit because it had a golf cart. There is no working WiFi, my husband couldn’t even work today because he couldn’t get on the WiFi. We are completely disappointed with the quality of this unit and with Evolve Travel. Never again.

  Hi Deb, we’re disappointed that you weren’t able to enjoy the golf cart, as is the owner. They have some information for you: I wish I could have had the golf cart serviced before your stay ended, but since I am not a mechanic, I had to wait for the next available appointment. It is best to tell me during your stay when the WiFi is down so I can fix it for you. There are no problems now and future guests can rest easy that they will have all of my amenities. I hope you will give me another opportunity to give you the experience that you were looking for and deserve next time you travel.

• Way more than was expected

  For the price I didn't expect to get what we got. So close to the beach, our own personal golf cart to take around the property, 11 different pools, mini golf. It was great. The rooms were bigger then we expected. Lots of room for 2 adults 1 kid and 2 puppies to run around. We will definitely book with Gulf Highlands Beach Resort in the future!
