  We enjoyed our stay- I shared a few 'notes' with the host on possibly needed items but overall a good place/location. I did wish they had curtains/blinds that provided better coverage as we like dark rooms to sleep in and that also helps with the heat in the summer. We would visit again

• Great house & location

  Family trip to see an old war buddy, the property was clean and the HVAC was ice cold. Every room is decorated in a different pattern which is super fun and the game room was great for the whole family. The pool is legit 12' deep and so baller I thought I would be charged extra for swimming in it. Billie was prompt, thorough, and unobtrusive. Will be back if the pool allows it.

• Wonderful stay

  It was fantastic! Billie was wonderful and responsive. The kids loved the pool and ping pong. Game room was a hit! Beautiful back yard and cardinals came everyday to visit. We would definitely stay there again.

• Disappointed with vacation home

  The home was not cleaned very well. The game room is in the garage with wall unit to cool. The games were broken-ping pong table, basketball game

  Pool and deck was not clean

  Remotes to televisions did not work

  For the price, it was not worth it

  Home needs repair and then cleaning

  This is a cute house with potential, but it would really benefit from greater attention to detail and more professional communication from the host. There were no bags in any of the bathroom trash cans, half of the closet door in the fish room is sitting on a shelf inside the closet and there’s still painters tape around the window. Most of the bedroom windows only have blinds on half the window and the Star Wars room had a comforter thrown over the curtain rod. The horse room had no mattress protector, only a fitted sheet on top of the mattress. Neither the horse room or the Star Wars room had a top sheet on the bed. I texted the host about a week before arrival with a simple question about balloons for my 7 year old and a simple answer would have sufficed. Instead she was incredibly rude to me and made so many incorrect assumptions and accusations about me my head was spinning. We weren’t planning a party, we didn’t have a party, and I think treating guests like they’re up to no good and lying to you is a disgusting way to conduct business. The way she responded to me via text was unhinged and she even sent me a screenshot of someone else’s reservation. Upon arrival, I did have a good chuckle about the irony of her having an entire drawer in the kitchen dedicated to party supplies/decorations given the way she treated me for asking about balloons. The pool is in need of resurfacing, so be prepared for some scraped toes if you’ve got little ones who will be swimming.

  Hi Lesley, we truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts about your recent stay. Your feedback is essential to us, and we've relayed your comments to the homeowner, who would like to address the following:
  -We want to clarify some points regarding your feedback. Regarding the absence of bags in small bathroom trash cans, we purposefully provide plastic containers that can be easily emptied. There is no painter's tape on the windows. While one window lacks blinds, we provide blackout curtains, rendering blinds unnecessary.
  -Regarding the Star Wars room, there are curtains in every room, and there was no comforter on any curtain rod. We provide mattress covers for every bed and ensure a top sheet is always in place.
  -As for the issue of a party, we simply reminded guests of our no-party policy when they inquired about balloons. However, upon inspection, it appeared there was an accumulation of trash and items indicating a gathering. The drawer mentioned in reference to a "party" is actually a collection of candles, plates, and other items left behind by previous guests, which we intentionally leave for the convenience of future guests to utilize.
  -Concerning the pool, we maintain it regularly and do not require resurfacing. However, we did notice a hole in the pool floor after their stay, which was not present before their arrival.
  We strive to ensure that every guest enjoys the best possible stay, and we eagerly anticipate hosting many more satisfied guests at this property, as evidenced by our other reviews.
