  The property was in a good neighborhood and central for our needs. Everything was nice and neat except for shattered glass on the larger backyard which cut up our dogs paw. There's also a broken tile in the master shower which may fall down at any time and hurt some one.

  Otherwise, we had a great stay. Suggest getting heating for the pool, as the temperature was really cold.

• Wish it was better?

  This is a nice house but it seems the company that is in charge of the property management are lacking. The company, Evolve, are the real problem here. We reserved this property months ago as we were visiting relatives that live in Ocala and after a search of properties in the area we settled on this one as we wanted a pool. Upon our arrival the first thing we noticed was the lawn was unkempt and the grass was extremely high, after entering the property we checked the pool and it was green, not a pleasant green but farm pond green! The house was dirty, the lanai floor was disgusting, this would be the space where you would be walking after getting out of the pool in bare feet! We checked in on a Saturday at 4PM and called the Evolve folks about the problems the next morning, the whole time the Evolve Management was less than stellar in their replies about our problems. They finally sent a pool company to check the pool on Monday and he put some chemicals in it and said it should be good to go by the time we came back to the house by 1PM. Nope it was still green, we called the folks at Evolve and they said the cleaning people that supposedly cleaned the house before we arrived mentioned the pool did not "look right"? After several calls the management people asked us what would be fair as compensation, we replied that half the cost of the rental would be fair, they offered us 200 bucks which was less than one days rental! I recommend you NOT renting this house.

  -"Our property benefits from a professional lawn care service, which ensures regular upkeep. Notably, this service had visited the property just two days prior to your check-in. We possess video evidence of this maintenance recorded on our Ring garage camera.
  -We take pride in our exceptional housekeeping crew and are fully confident in their ability to maintain a clean and guest-ready environment. We can assure you that the house was thoroughly cleaned and prepared for your arrival.
  -Maintaining a pool can be a challenging task, especially when dealing with heavy rainfall, as was the case during your stay. Such weather conditions can quickly disrupt the chemical balance of the pool. Upon being alerted to this issue by our guest services team, we promptly engaged our pool maintenance company. They attended to the matter during your stay and continued their efforts daily thereafter. While it did take a few days to fully rectify, the pool was restored to crystal clarity before your departure.
  -The appearance of a dirty pool deck was also influenced by the heavy rain during that week. Our inspection revealed that it was primarily sediment accumulation resulting from heavy rain and minor deck flooding.
  -We genuinely apologize for the issues you encountered with the pool and have directly communicated with Evolve. We reached an agreement for a 30% refund on each night of your stay. We understand that there was an expectation of a 50% refund covering the entirety of your stay, including the cleaning fee and Evolve fees. The agreed-upon refund was expedited and issued to you in a timely manner.
  -Evolve is a management company, and our teams are always available to address any inquiries or concerns. However, we encourage our guests to connect with their local guest contact for on-the-ground matters since they possess an intimate knowledge of the property and can promptly resolve any issues that may arise.

• Great house uncomfortable sleeping

  Everything was great but the beds. We really enjoyed the house. We stayed for 2 nights for a weight lifting competition. We loved the house everything was great other then the beds. The beds were really uncomfortable, made a lot of noise when turning around and the fans in the bedroom made noise. We would love to stay here again next year for the competition but my husband and his friend who were competing need to get a better night sleep before the competition.
