  • Maintenance/House is not being kept up with.


    Upon Arrival, House had horrible Odor, ceiling fan was dangling with wires exposed, garage door didn’t open, grass and landscape very high and out of control. Grass was mowed two days later and blow into pool. As we checked more out, the hot water tank was leaking, laundry room was extremely dirty, the tile in the pool is coming off inside the pool very sharp causing your feet to be cut. Ants in both bathrooms, bugs causing bites from sitting on couches. Several items broken, certain items not supplied. House is not being taken care of. Horrible experience!! Would not stay here, even after contacting owners some items were fixed but too much not maintained. House does not look like photos.

    Hi Erin, we passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We do our very best to uphold high standards of hospitality for our property and provide all of our guests with an exceptional experience.

    - As we value the cleanliness of the home, our cleaning team and handyman inspected the property shortly before, during and after your stay and did not detect any unusual odors.

    - We took immediate action once we were notified about the ceiling fan issue and had it replaced the very next day. We understand your concerns about the time it took for the replacement, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

    - The automatic garage door was in proper working order before and after your stay. To ensure efficiency, we will inspect the concern and address any issue if necessary.

    - The condition of our lawn is important to us and we have a weekly lawn service that takes care of mowing and trimming the plants around the property. The service uses grass catchers, so any grass clippings left behind are typically incidental and not intentional.

    - Regarding the reported leak, we discovered that the leak was coming from the AC drip pan. We immediately addressed this issue after your stay to ensure it wouldn't cause any further inconvenience to our guests.

    - We're sorry for any inconvenience caused by the laundry room's condition. You've mentioned the paint stains in the utility wash basin, so we have plans to replace it in October.

    - Safety is important to us and we appreciate your feedback on the tile in the pool. We were never made aware of the issue until now but to ensure efficiency, we plan to address the damaged tiles in October.

    - Guests can rest assured that this was the first report of any ants inside the house. We want to assure you that we have a pest control service in place, and they regularly treat the exterior of the home to prevent such occurrences.

    - Our cleaning team conducted a thorough inspection of the furniture and found no evidence of pests. This experience appears to be unique, as no other guests have reported similar problems.

    - Our very first guest created some issues, including damage to the ceiling fan, a wall clock, and the knobs on the buffet. We had instructed our cleaning service to dispose of the damaged clock, but it seems there was an oversight on their part. We're sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused.

    - For guest's use, guests can find a brand new mop and bucket in the closet. After your stay, we replaced two missing light bulbs in the master bedroom lamps. In addition, we also provide various cleaning supplies, including dish towels, drying mats, and products for the kitchen and bathrooms. We aim to make your stay hassle-free, offering dishwasher pods, garbage bags for all trash cans, laundry soap, dish soap, bath and shower essentials, and more.

    - In all of our interactions with you, we addressed your concerns. In understanding the matter, we not only replaced the fan but also provided a $50 refund for the inconvenience.

    - We aim for transparency and our listing and photos are accurately advertised so guests can verify if everything in the home fits their needs.

    We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
