• Beautiful and clean, but rigid pool policies

  I wish I could give this property five stars but unfortunately, the pool was not what we were expecting. The property is gorgeous, clean, updated, high-tech, and homey. The owner clearly puts a lot of love into her property. We were very upset about the policies and procedures around the pool. We paid an additional fee to have the pool and hot tub heated during our stay, and it was not disclosed on the listing that the pool would only be heated for eight hours daily, would take several hours to heat up, and we would have to reach out to the homeowner to have the heat turned on. We felt this policy was unfair given the additional fees we paid.

• Would not recommend to anyone with allergies/asthma

  When we first entered the house we were knocked over by the smell. There were 5 air fresheners plugged in all around the house, some were different scents. The bathrooms also had their own scents so everything was competing with each other. If you are sensitive to chemical air fresheners do not book here. Even after they were unplugged and the house opened up to gain fresh air I still had to use my emergency in haler and lots of Benadryl.

  Our biggest issue was the heat for the pool, we paid the extra fee (which btw was as much as a resident would pay for a whole month to heat their pool I confirmed with others who live and own in Florida) but the pool never got above 70 degrees. It was cold and we were just told it was because of the weather but at the house we were staying at previously there was no issue to heat the pool bc of the weather. The whole reason we rented this house was for the pool and it never got warm and the hot tub was never a hot tub it is just another part of the cold pool with jets. If you aren't renting in the summer watch out the pool won't be warm.

  This listing looks amazing and like luxury but there were many things that were not luxurious about our stay. We had to plug in and recharge several of the blinds to be able to open them and use the sliding doors or open the windows in the bedroom for light. The bathrooms had lux soap with single ply toilet paper.

  There were many repaired holes in the drywall without retouching of paint. We would not book here again.

  First of all, there are too many hidden charges. If you are staying make sure you know every charge and don’t expect to use the heated pool or hot tub we were told it would be repaired within a couple of days however it was never repaired.. My granddaughters were very disappointed they weren’t able to enjoy the pool and hot tub! The repairs were never done!
