    This unit was unsatisfactory. The unit was furnished with what seems to be dated, poor quality & used furniture. It’s not a modern property as images online via Vrbo suggests. Furniture had visibly wear & tear. The unit has bugs (roaches) in its kitchen area. The unit supplied coffeemaker, coffee, creamer without filters, proper mugs nor sweetener as an option. There was trash (i.e.: used grocery bags left in kitchen, used shower curtain left in restroom, etc.) spotted throughout the unit. There wear nasty dirt spots on the sofa which made sitting limited & uncomfortable. The back porch steps were broken & debris from house repairs surrounded the back porch. The back porch light was inconsistently operational. Which were safety issues. Nonetheless, it was a great location. It’s walkable near San Narco waterfront. It was the (2) reasons we remained. However, I didn’t realize it was a shared property. The property has another unit in the back which impedes vacation privacy. It removes seclusion while on vacation. Overall, it was a unit setup for individuals of meager means. I’d prefer a Hampton Inn over this property in the future. I’d appreciate a partial refund.

    Hi Liam, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
    - We wish you'd reached out during your stay to share these concerns with the guest contact or Evolve so we could've assisted you immediately.
    - Our listing photos accurately depict the furniture in the home. We purchased new beds and mattresses several months ago along with new pillows and mattress protectors. We also chose quality refurbished furniture pieces to maintain the home’s character and reduce our carbon footprint. While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, furniture taste and decor are a personal preference.
    - We conduct regular professional pest control treatments, and while Palmetto bugs can be common in this area during the summer, they're harmless. It's worth noting that this is the only instance reported this year.
    - We apologize for the oversight in not stocking the kitchen with coffee filters, sweeteners, or mugs. We've placed an overnight Prime order and they've been delivered to the property for future guests.
    - We store recycled, clean plastic bags in the kitchen for guests' convenience. While the shower curtain isn't changed between each guest, it's hung properly in the shower, and our meticulous cleaners ensure it's cleaned and replaced as needed.
    - The first porch step has one sagging board but is still in working condition. We'll promptly repair this. We store a few posts from the deck on the grass in an area that isn't very accessible, but there's no other debris surrounding the porch.
    - The porch light is wired to the laundry room light, so the laundry room light needs to be turned on for the outdoor light to work. We understand this could be confusing and will add signage to help future guests.
    - We state in the listing that there's a second unit that shares the driveway. We encourage guests to fully review this information before booking to ensure they find a property that meets their preferences.
    We’re continuously working to improve our services and address any concerns. We do all we can to provide an excellent guest experience and we look forward to hosting many satisfied guests.
