Vacation during a hurricane??
5/5 Despite having to leave early due to hurricane Ian, we had a wonderful vacation in Jax! We chose this property for the private pool and the openness to pets. We have two little spoiled dogs that very much enjoyed the yard and comfy house. The dogs like to have eyes on you at all times and they could come look at you swimming in the pool in the window and go back to sleep! They enjoyed that! The house furniture while basic was clean and styled nicely! What struck me was the shiny floor. I've stayed in very nice hotels and other rentals where the floors never are clean, even when they looked it. Not here. The floor was spotless! Loved the kitchen space! The neighborhood was a phenomenal place to walk the dogs. Very safe and flat with gorgeous yards for the dogs to sniff! Didn't see one stray dog or unfriendly person. No loud music or kids or cars. Neighborhood is close to everything and plenty of delivery options on door dash and Uber eats. Close to pristine and safe beach. Short car ride. Loved the coffee shops all within proximity. Especially Pura!! The only things of note is the pool wasn't heated and the bamboo trees block it from a lot of direct sun. At lest in September when we were there it was a tiny bit cold. Also for people with small dogs the room on the back of the house that was added is raised off the ground a bit. Small curious dogs try to go under that. Had to watch mine carefully because it's Florida and I worry about snakes and stuff. Maybe some garden lattice would help with that. Or maybe just dogs that listen better than mine. That being said We fully intend to come to Jax again and will hope this rental is available for use in the future. Gina is an amazing host and was nothing but friendly and welcoming and really makes you want to return.

Home away from home
5/5 This property was perfect for coworkers and I. The back patio and pool area are great for hanging out after a day of work. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is on vacation or doing business in the area. The house has everything you would have at your own home. Neighborhood is quiet at night and a short distance to grocery stores and restaurants . Also just a few minutes away from the beach.
