Fun Stay - a few issues
4/5 This was overall a nice place to stay. The property itself was great, except for a few issues that were handled quickly by the property manager and house owner. The location is a little weird - it is in a residential part of Florida quite different from the "resort Florida" we are used to. But the neighborhood was quiet, and once we entered the property we forgot we weren't in "resort Florida." We enjoyed several beaches, including Howard Park and Honeymoon Island, and also enjoyed the Sponge Docks and eating Greek cuisine. Captain Jack's was also a great place to hang out on our last night.

Enjoyed Our Stay
4/5 We found the home comfortable and well stocked! While we didn't cook much, everything we needed was there! We only had two issues:1) the hot water handle in the hallway bathroom is loose. 2) the pool was too cool to use/ We'd come back if you added a heater to the pool! Other than that, all was good!

Property was as advertised!
3/5 Had a few minor things that were going to go unspoken about until there was a plumbing issue. Property manager was condescending and insulting from how I perceived the texts I received. After speaking to one of the owners he was able to resolve the issue for me. I would recommend this property. It is as stated. Perfectly quiet and nicely appointed.

3/5 This is a nice property.Kitchen is adequate Bedrooms small and stuffy, or freezing with a/c . Linens were terrible. One set of sheets for a 10 day rental. I was not planning on doing laundry while on vacation, but who sleeps on sheets for 10 days?My biggest complaint is that there are no screens on any windows or doors. There was a constant comfortable breeze but we couldn’t appreciate it with no screens. The pool is cute. Not heated. I thought the sun would have warmed it but no, we couldn’t really use it. We enjoyed the funky yard decor and the tiki bar was a nice spot to sit and watch the birds on the wires of the 600 foot cell tower across the street. Excellent reception. The location is not close to much of anything but strip malls. Grocery, gas, alcohol all close by. My final thought is that this place is nice but could be so much better.

Hi Laurel, we are sorry to hear that you experienced some issues during your stay. After going over your feedback, the homeowner wanted to address the items that you mentioned:
- Both bedrooms are well equipped with fans. One of the bedrooms has a HEPA filter which should clear out the stuffiness in the room and a fully functional A/C unit with a fan-only mode.
-While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we're sorry the sheets didn't meet your preferences. We will try to have more sheets available for future guests' needs.
- The front door has a screened-in porch but we are also working on adding window screens. We hope they will be available in time for summer.
