• Great house, good location

  We were a bit apprehensive of securing this rental with the prior reviews, but found the place to be awesome! The owner has taken steps to correct issues in prior reviews, there were pest control sonic devices around the house and we didn't see a single insect. The temperature, albeit spring, was extremely comfortable with a mini-split unit in the master suite and standard HVAC system in the main house.

  The neighborhood appears to be gentrifying. There is new million dollar construction going on in the neighborhood. The park behind the property was well lit and a wonderful walking path. The firepit on property was a wonderful place to unwind after a day and it was so quiet outback that you forgot your proximity to the city.

  An extremely comfortable stay for my wife and I, our dog, our two adult children, and my wife's parents. Lots of room, well apportioned with corn-hole and comfortable seating inside and out.

  We wouldn't change a thing!

  Any questions which we did have were promptly answered by the owner by email or text.

  The pictures make the home look a lot bigger than what it is. Roaches were inside and everywhere outside. The front yard grass was up to my knees. The backyard grass was mowed, just not edged. The A/C in the living room was leaking when we arrived to I contacted the owner, someone came and took the A/C unit and nothing was ever followed up. It was HOT in the living room. The master bedroom is HUGE! And it had its own A/C unit so it would get freezing in there. So, we were comfortable but unfortunately the rest of the family wasn’t. The back bedrooms are outdated and hot. The owner is prompt in returning calls and even allowed early check in, so that was nice. But, this is the first VRBO I’ve been really disappointed in.

  - Thanks for letting us know about the critters you encountered. This area can have some pests, but our cleaning team works hard to make sure that the home is free of any critters. We are looking into this further to see if additional pest control services may be warranted
  - The A/C unit that was removed was a ground unit needing emptying and removal for leak servicing, which is why it wasn't returned
  - We rely on a commercial landscaping service to mow and trim the lawn every 2 weeks, ensuring it's ready for our guests

• Beautiful home with some issues

  The house was pretty. The location was nice not far from food, grocery, gas and small drive to a beautiful beach. The a/c did not work good at all. The roaches at night were horrible. The back yard lawn needed to be cut and had a bunch of stickers, but day three of the stay they did cut the grass.But liked the extra chairs and games in the pantry. Overall it was a decent stay. The ac didn’t bother us too much because we were gone during the day. The bathroom door was completely off the hinge and the bathroom tile floors were coming undone. But again overall a nice stay with the small issues fixed we would stay again.
