• Spacious home for a large group & great location

  Overall our stay was great - house is in great shape, clean and updated. Kitchen is fantastic. There are large gathering rooms, many activities to keep all busy and beach is within walking distance. However nearby beach is very narrow (but quiet) so you may want to go to the beach near the jetty. Depends on your preference. We chose to stay at the nearest one because we liked that it was less crowded. Back yard was beautiful with lots of foliage, pool, hot tub, grill and fire pit. My family also enjoyed many games of pickle ball. House host was very quick to respond whenever I had questions.

  My suggestions for improvements and/or things I disliked:

  #1 is mattresses in ALL rooms need to be replaced! (with maybe the exception of the extra King bed room in back) I recommend you bring your own pillow if you're picky about that type of thing. Master bedroom also needs a boxspring under mattress - currently sits very low to the floor.

  Also master bedroom does not have door to the bathroom which could VERY easily be added in the hall from bdrm area to bathroom. I like my privacy and since there is not a bathroom in the common areas of the house (each of the 4 bedrooms has a bathroom connected) my husband was locked out of our entire bedroom when the mstr bathroom was being used and vice versa, I was when he was in there. Not very convenient.

  Bedroom with 6 bunk beds had a closet but no rod to hang clothes so not usable and no curtains on windows. No remote for ceiling fan so couldn't use it.

  No way to get to the large gathering room in the back of the house except through 1 of the 2 King bedrooms and remember the master king bdrm also has the bathroom you have to walk through to get there. You could walk out the front door and through the back yard to get to an exterior door to the back gathering room.

  ***One more thing which I did not fully read when I booked the house and wish I would've - the back yard and all facilities outside are shared with a 1 or 2 bdrm rental above the unattached garage! The older couple who was renting it when we were there had 2-3 other families over for gatherings in the backyard a few times during the week we were there. I probably should've contacted the host but didn't want to make waves with the people we had to share the outdoors with all week.

  We overlooked the minor inconveniences & had a great vacation week! Loved having my family all together and not feeling cramped.

  Had a great time staying at this house. Perfect for kids or multiple families. Close to beach and the state park!

  The owner is wonderful and actively involved making sure that any needs are met. The house is larger than pictures show. Can easily sleep 3 adult couples with their own private room n bath while still having enough beds for same. Pool area is beautiful and you could stay at house entire time. Short walk to beach. The only thing you will need is cooking pans, toiletries, and food. Would give ten stars. We had 3 adult couples and 5 children and was more room then needed. If you are staying in this area you can not go wrong we could have had 3 more couples with beds for all plus more kids.

  I took my children and grandchildren On a small vacation wanted a place for everyone to stay together. This home was so much more than that. Beautiful and alot of room. Host is very nice and accomidating. I will definitely be marking this home as my favorite so far. I rent homes every year but will definitely be taking my family back to this home.
