It was okay
3/5 The best part was being in the Everglades. The cabin itself was okay. It felt rather unusual what they chose to spend their money on (bedframe and dresser) and what, in our opinion, they did not (the screen door broke off the hinges (my husband had to fix it), the stairs wabbled as you went up them (we are both around 170 lbs), cabinets missing handles, lack of proper repairs). Not to mention, there were unclean areas, such as someone's hair around the toilet and crumbs on the living room table. The bed was extremely firm. They did offer Netflix for rainy days, the boat ramp option was nice, it was close to a local restaurant, and if there hadn't been loads of mosquitos (not their fault), the screened-in porch might have been a nice place to hang out.
When you just need to get away
5/5 Everglades City has been our special place for over 30 years. This rental was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, cute and private. The hosts were attentive, understanding and simply amazing. We will definitely be back.

5/5 Property was clean and everything worked very well. Host was exceptionally accommodating and able to provide great tips for catching fish in the local area. Best Fishing trip to Florida that I have ever had.
