• Best rental property ever!

  The Ultimate Fisher Retreat was all that we had hoped for and more! The owner, Rod, greeted us and explained everything and lived on the property if you needed anything, he was so nice. The lake house was beautiful just like the photos showed. The house was the cleanest we had ever stayed at in a rental. The location was perfect, 6 miles from Crystal River and 10 miles to shopping and Rainbow springs. The area was quiet and off the main road which made for a relaxing vacation. Fishing is hard off the deck due to the weeds floating in, but use the row boat to get away from that. The deck and views were amazing! The only thing negative is that the toilets are very low, so if you have Back issues it maybe a problem. We had a great time and would love to return to this house in the near future. Thank you to the owners!

  I booked this trip in January for a stay beginning 6/21. On 6/19 I was canceled and it was due to the A/C going out. I have lived in Florida my whole life and A/C businesses are everywhere. All units, all parts can be found and installed in a day. I was given alternate postings, but not a one was anywhere near water. Not comparable at all. Finding nothing last minute, I switched to AB&B and was instantly booked in another place which turned out to be better overall. Vrbo will not be used again in any of my future bookings. Vrbo offered nothing to compensate the inconvenience. very bad experience.

  - It's unfortunate that there was a significant AC issue right before your stay that led to the cancellation of your booking. While it's disappointing that you weren't able to enjoy the waterfront home as planned, we had to take prompt and thorough action to address the AC problem
  - It turned out to be a total AC replacement, including a new condensing unit, air handler, refrigerant lines, ductwork modifications, and the removal of the existing broken AC system
  - The AC contractor had to apply for a permit, order the new equipment, and schedule his team for the repairs so the whole process took three to four days to complete
  It's understandable that unexpected situations can arise, and it's essential to prioritize the safety and comfort of guests. Rest assured that we value your feedback and are confident that future guests will have an excellent stay now that the AC has been replaced with a brand-new system.   We arrived and instructions for entry were smooth, next dat Met with Rod who was great to meet and had a lot of area knowledge would love to return soon

  Fishing, relaxing, and watching nature unfold for the day, right where you stay. Crystal clear rivers and lush gardens nearby, along with miles of hiking and biking trails await all guests.

• We loved our stay at The Fisherman’s Retreat

  This house is beautiful and so accommodating! My husband was so happy to hang out on the dock and fish all day. We enjoyed the company of all the wildlife, including the resident gator. The layout of the house is built for entertaining guests with many amenities. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable!! The home owners were very easy to reach through text, they are super sweet and great hosts. We will be back!
