The house was great! We didn't feel like we were on top of each other. I thought that the "green" room would be too green for me but walking in there first thing in the morning after the door had been shut all night... HEAVEN. The rosemary and sage smell just starts your day off right! The wildlife in the area was great to see and the views were just phenomenal. The wifi was great, we never incurred any issues. The phone number that texted us was helpful when we had questions. There were a ton of first aid kits around. I liked the tap water but my family said they didn't like the taste. I think that they are just used to the chlorinated water back home. There were lots of games and activities to do in the home. The pull out couch was great to sleep on and curl up and watch movies on. It was SUPER clean. I do think that a couple of the windows had gaps in them or something because there were a ton of moths around. Some of the windows were missing screens but there were enough of them that we could create a great breeze. Oh my kids were disappointed that the hot tub was out of order but I was happy that it was lol they were also a bit nervous at first of the wooden Native American man on the front porch, but they got over it quick lol! The only real downside to this house was the water pressure wasn't that great and it made taking showers a bit more difficult than originally intended but other than that it was a pretty great house!
The home was very clean and comfortable. It has very nice amenities. The view of the mountains & location was what we pay to see! The morning we left it snowed 8-10 inches & there wasn’t any electricity. The housekeeper was quick to get in touch with us to offer assistance. That was much appreciated but we didn’t need it.

This location and accommodations worked well for our stay in La Veta. It was nice to have a house to ourselves.
