The Old Manor House in Saguache embraces the visitor with history. The well-maintained, clean and spacious Craftsman-style house is an architectural gem with tremendous character. Our hosts’ instructions for accessing and using the house were clear, and they were responsive to questions. Our stay was wonderful. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped, a necessity in this remote and beautiful part of Colorado. Hosts Kerri and Jason left us a warm welcoming note. We look forward to staying there again.

The Old Saguache Manor embraces the visitor with history-a snapshot of the town at the turn of the 20th century. I must caveat this response with this: We had a 2 night stay booked, but only got to stay one night because of an issue with the house. The gas to the house was not working, meaning that we had no hot water and no heat, but since we arrived after 9pm and this property is very remote, we stuck it out for the first night before having to leave in the morning. However, the property itself is gorgeous and I would highly recommend it. Once we discovered our issue, the host was extremely responsive, sympathetic, and fair. The issue was a fluke thing that any homeowner can relate to, and I don't blame them for what happened here, and I appreciate the way it was all handled. As I said before, the home is beautiful and I would certainly be happy to attempt to stay here again. The space feels very elegant and classic, with the only real setback being that there is only 1 shower in the house. Despite this, I would highly recommend this property for anybody looking for lots of space in an otherwise remote part of Colorado.
