    We loved being near Red Rocks and having a little park nearby. Only complaints were there was limited toilet paper / paper towel and the bed at the end of the hall upstairs was very wobbly.

  • Evolve should do better. Please only show up in the daylight.


    I understand it's denver and so there could be snow, but the ice ramp to the front door was not fun to show up to at 1am with the garage lights not coming on. I managed to get some light after I found a lamp to plug in, not sure why there's no light or I would need to plug it in on arrival. Host had called prior to arrival to warn of a glitch with the microwave and let me know to fix it I just needed to flip the breaker on the side of the house if there was an issue, I didnt expect it to not work when I showed up though and wasn't going to attempt to find the breaker in the dark on ice. I had to sleep in the living room because I reinjured myself on the ice ramp to the doorway. So I got to hear what I later found out were mice all night. I left promptly the next morning and even cleaned up the trash and remnants of a smoker on the porch before I left. As I was searching for a new, safe, place to stay I did get a message from the owner telling me about pest control and the mice situation. I'm unsure why I'm not due for a refund. This house was not ready or set to be rented out and I am usually very generous. But I viewed the way the house on arrival as unsafe, and was actually extremely glad I already made the decision to start the search for a last minute booking so I could get my medical procedure done the next day and have a safe place to recover. I'm beyond disappointed, this was my first time using evolve as airbnb is awful but it seems evolve is just as bad if not worse to allow this and tell me I am only allowed a refund upon flooding.

    Hi Samantha, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
    - Unfortunately, these out-of-the-ordinary events occurred during your visit. We try our best to accommodate guests and provide a great environment, but sometimes external factors such as inclement weather are simply out of our control. that being said, there is a motion sensor light outside the front door to welcome our guests at night.
    - We go above and beyond to provide a comfortable experience for guests and we're sorry that outside circumstances changed that. Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns - we’re glad we were able to send pest control over the next day to take care of the little critters that caught you by surprise.
    - Providing a welcoming environment is important to us. We want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us so we did have our maintenance crew scrape all the ice away after you shared your concerns with us.
    - While we do regret our home was not up to your expectations, we’re happy to share that no issues were reported by our most recent guests.
    - We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have a wonderful stay!
