• Fantastic Winter Retreat

  This home was perfect for our three man ski trip over Easter weekend. Working with Aubri on a slightly earlier check-in was a breeze as she was so accommodating and easy to communicate with. And the pre-arrival information packet that was sent had every bit of information you would need to be prepared for your arrival. The house is about 10 minutes south of downtown Leadville and sits on top of a hill that offers spectacular mountain views in three directions. Be aware, the switchback road to get to the house definitely had spots that were rutted out with mud but luckily, we had a 4WD Jeep. Getting up that hill in the winter in anything 2WD could get very hairy.Having access to the attached garage was great because we never had to take our ski boots or gear out of the car overnight. But if you wanted to, there was a mud room with a coat/boot rack just inside the door from the garage. There is also a washer and dryer that I don't think was mentioned in the rental description.There was plenty of room for us to spread out and have some privacy when we wanted to, but the large living room (featuring a huge window with views of Mt. Massive), dining room and two patios were also great for gathering. And the hot tub was obviously a huge benefit after long days of skiing.For a group of busy Dads in our 30's and 40's, who haven't gone on many trips without our families in tow, this home was absolutely perfect and made an already rare vacation even more special. We hope to be back and I can't imagine finding a better place to stay.

  All the amenities for a snowboarding trip. Good garage space, drop zone for gear, washer/dryer, coffee maker, hot tub. All necessary cooking utensils. Plenty of space in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Great living space with TV, great book selection and board games. Mountain and valley views from all the windows. Nice deck off master and dining area. Pet friendly. Good amount of space to walk a dog.
