• Beautiful mountain stay

  Very pretty house location with the essentials. We loved the many couches and rooms. Room to spread out or all be together. Great setup for a lot of cooking which we did, and wonderful big table. Amazing grill. Didn’t have garage access. We wished there was a separate game table or folding card table. No tvs in bedrooms, and tvs in living areas were dated and small. (One was too old for a Roku stick to plug in). We weren’t there to watch tv but it would have been nice to have a big tv for a movie night. Only thing missing were hand towels (not one in sight), and weird missing item was not having a toilet paper holder in master bathroom so it just sat on top of the toilet. House is older and somewhat remodeled. This home is in the country so there were a fair amount of bugs in the house- pincher bugs and spiders, and a fact of country living is mice. I saw a mouse 3 separate times but no droppings so they obviously clean well. Bedrooms had room air conditioning units (so thankful because it was hot) and an obvious holes that bugs were getting in through so we patched with duct tape which helped. Many fans and humidifiers which were good. Towels were functional but scratchy/tattered and need to be replaced asap. Great family vacation spot, very functional. A lot of couches/seating but time to be replaced. I know it’s already in description but reiterating there are a lot of steps so be careful. A few updates could make it feel luxury. Love this home.

  Hi Bekah, we’re glad you found the property to be beautiful and spacious, but we’re sorry other aspects fell short of expectations. After sending your feedback to the owner, we’d like to share the following:
  - We’ve recently upgraded the TVs in the living areas, including adding a significantly larger one, and both are now HDMI-compatible for easier streaming.
  - While we understand the desire for TVs in the bedrooms, the home is marketed without them, and the listing photos reflect this. The intention is to create a more unplugged, relaxing environment for guests.
  - Hand towels should have been provided, and we’ll make sure this is corrected for future guests.
  - The toilet paper holder in the master bathroom is being replaced after a previous guest damaged it. We apologize we were unable to replace it before your stay.
  - The new mini-split A/C units have been installed, which should eliminate any bug issues and allow the window screens to be reinstalled.
  - We take cleanliness and comfort seriously and will be replacing the towels to ensure they meet our standards.
  - While our furniture is in good working order, we appreciate your feedback and will consider updates to enhance the guest experience further.
  - The home is stocked with a variety of board games and cards though there isn’t a dedicated game table. We will consider adding a table for these activities.
  We have worked very hard to provide a clean and comfortable place for guests to enjoy and will continue to do all we can to provide the best possible stay for our guests!

  The experience was incredible. Beautiful home with character and all the things you would need traveling with a family. The host was communicative and so kind. We love Glenwood, this was our first time staying out of town and I think it will become the new norm.

• Amazing house!

  This house has SO much space! The outdoor areas are great - hot tub/patio/grill/comfy chairs. The owner was very attentive - even warned us of upcoming strong storms. The beds were comfy and having 3 bathrooms was fantastic! The kitchen was amply stocked with cookware and serving ware. The location is great - not in the hustle and bustle of town but close enough by car to access everything. We would definitely rent again if we are in the area!

• Great place and location

  This was such a great place to stay and located close to so many things. 8 of us stayed and we had plenty of room to spread out. The owner and property manager were both very prompt with their responses. We had everything we needed and more. Comfortable beds too which is always a bonus!

• 2nd Stay Didn’t Disappoint

  This is our 2nd time staying at this home and it didn’t disappoint. The set up is great for 2 families of 4 with tons of space and sleeping options. We loved the hot tub, fire table and BBQ that drew us to spend more time outside with the beautiful surroundings and quiet setting. The kitchen is super well stocked with everything we needed. Even cooking spray and coffee. The bathrooms came equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash and laundry detergent supplied too. My favorite special touch is the charging cords on either side of the bed. So handy!We felt at home and would certainly consider a 3rd return trip!
