  I will say in the beginning, the owner was helpful and responsive. When I asked where the hair dryer was he had one overnighted by Amazon. And when I asked why the house was 78 degrees, he sent me a video to override the preprogrammed temperature. I told him thank you and that as a property manager myself I would want to know the hot tub was dirty, as the house seemed to be. I could see the air return from the couch and kept hoping it was paint or something. The owner asked me to send pictures. When we returned to the house the next day after sightseeing, I took pictures. I had to move a piece of furniture a few inches for a better picture. The vent was disgusting. But there was also a ton of dog hair, dirty dishes, and filth under the console table. In the main bedroom, I moved the nightstand to plug in my phone and same thing. My kids (adults) had said the hot tub was gross. But omg. When I looked at it I questioned myself as a parent that they even got in it. It was 17 days past due for cleaning. As I said in the beginning, I run rental houses. I get how things can go wrong. And I refund accordingly. I read the review for the stay prior to my stay after we had checked in. (My cancellation period expired prior to the review.) I chalked it up to hopefully difficult clients.

  The owner told me the last time the house was cleaned, they had issues with the cleaners. The filth in that house has been there for a long time. . . Vents cant get that gross 6 months. DO NOT STAY HERE!

  I'll preface this with saying the host and the assigned handy person were very responsive. However, the person that cleaned before we arrived seemed to take quite a few shortcuts. Not cleaning under things, not cleaning vents, not cleaning couch crevices, etc. Also, the house could sleep the number of people advertised, but there weren't enough plates/bowls/flatware. Some additional cutlery was ordered, but didn't arrive until the day we left. Also there weren't hand towels in the bathrooms, extra paper towels, or laundry detergent for us to start a load of laundry per the checkout instructions. I would like to recommend the host add a note to have guests bring their own towels if they plan to use the hot tub. The backyard was a disaster with weeds, trash and old old dog poop. Ultimately, the house served our needs with enough beds and seating. But it wasn't nearly as nice as previously reviewed. Again, the host was responsive and conciliatory in text. However, these issues still remained.

  We were staying due to a fire in our home as a military family and my hubby is deployed. This was such an amazing place to call home for a temporary stay. My 4 kids of all ages loved it. The kitchen was nice size and we loved sitting at the large family table. My kids enjoyed the game room spent most of their time there or in the large backyard.Located close enough to fort Carson and I25 that got to everything else. This had all the best amenities of home. This was such a lovely place and my kids did not want to leave.

• Really met our family’s needs!

  We were visiting family assigned to Fort Carson and the location was very convenient for us. There is plenty of space for the family to spread out. Communication with the Property Manager was excellent throughout. Would not hesitate to stay here again!
