Little get away
3/5 The descriptions of the property was not accurate, hot tub not working, pull out couch was broken. Tried to contact property owner a Lumber of time, text and calls and she never answered or replied.

Home is nice, but need new cleaning service and guest contact
3/5 The home is nice and decently stocked. Area was quiet and a great place to relax with several comforts provided which is why 3 stars instead of 1 or 2. Things to note though: Home is not what I would call elderly accessible. Stairs from parking to front door are steep while stairs to main bedroom are so narrow that it is safer to go up barefoot or at least turn your foot sideways. No window coverings except behind the couch. If anyone is staying in cabin B, they can see into master. Bunk beds levels are close together and you can not sit up on bottom bunk. The bunk bed room has door that leads directly outside which could be a little unnerving for young ones. A dispenser is provided in the shower but it needs labels to distinguish shampoo and body wash. Also no washer/dryer on site. Upstairs a futon is provided as an additional bed, but the leg was broken. We placed a log under it.
About our stay - We arrived and had trouble getting into the home. My husband and I both called Courtney. We kept swiping the keyless entry but the number pad would not show up. Turns out that you need to swipe, 2 numbers show up, you select them... and THEN you enter the code provided. Hope this helps the next person renting it. We then entered the home and noticed it was heavily perfumed with an underlying odor present. We were meeting our son so we rushed to shower and that was when we realized that the bathroom trash was tightly stuffed full with soiled baby diapers. I had to place the bag on the porch because we didn't see a large garbage can outside. Then as we unpacked, we opened the fridge to some leftover food items and a partially drunk bottle of wine. We called Courtney again. No answer which was probably good because we might have canceled our reservation for the additional nights. We called Courtney the following day - no answer or return call. Then after checking out we tried again - no answer or return call. I have since emailed her with no response. More than 1 week has gone by with no one reaching out. I would have preferred to get some kind of resolution before leaving a negative review, but I want others warned. Seems from other reviews that Courtney's availability to guests varies. Anyway, our son lives in the area, so we will be returning, but we will be avoiding this location specifically due to the poor cleaning service and Courtney.

Peaceful and quiet
5/5 We love this area. 11 mile canyon is breathtaking. The cabin is clean. The kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck every morning. We enjoyed our stay!
Convenient/comfortable
4/5 Door lock and heating system were both tricky so not giving 5 out of 5.
