Cabin
5/5 Beautiful view & cabin & great views. We came to get away from the heatwave in Texas and we did! Definitely a rough road but we brought our all wheel drive and no issues. Rained a lot while we were there and we didn't get to see much wildlife. The internet was spotty but we kind of expected that being that high up in the mountains. The cabin was clean except the inside of the stove, but the rest of the kitchen was clean. Maybe someone just forgot to clean it before we got there? Had quite a thunderstorm one night and lost electric, but it was back on by the time we got up in the morning. Close enough to town to go in and eat when you don't want to cook at the cabin. Not too far from Breckenridge, so you can take a nice day trip there too.

Beware if you cancel.
1/5 Had to cancel shortly before scheduled due to illness in family. These things happen. Did not receive a penny back and lost a substantial amount of money. Tax on something we did not use? Cleaning fee also fully lost. Was not expecting a full refund but greed won out and the entirety nearly three thousand was kept by evolve. Be mindful if this when using this service. I surely won’t and I visit Fairplay every year.

Everything in the cabin was clean and homey:)
The only thing we were disappointed about was that in cabin instructions stated that the hot tub was for “Owners use only”. But there was a photo of it online when we booked. We were looking forward to this, and was a little disappointed and felt it was misleading.
Other than that, the cabin was perfect. It snowed heavy while we were there, and we’re guessing that the owners had them plow out the snow from the driveway two days in a row, so it made it easy to come and go. Thank you very much!!
