  We are leaving the house now, quite disappointed. My group is used to leaving the house tidy, but due to the lack of space for trash and the lack of water since yesterday, we couldn't do anything. Yesterday was stressful because of the lack of water. We forgot about the other minor problems: non-functioning electrical outlets, burnt-out light bulbs, broken and very messy kitchen cabinets, and a faulty heating system (very hot downstairs and very cold upstairs). The first day of the year was a challenge, as we had to buy water for personal use, guests were complaining, and children and adults couldn't take a shower. We are leaving to look for a place to shower. I have been a host on another apps for a year, and we understand that guests need attention and quick solutions to the natural problems of a residence. We didn't get anything close to that. Because of this, we request financial compensation, a full refund of the amount paid for the stay. • Mountain Retreat

  This property was exactly as described and matched the photos. While the description mentions road access, any vehicle can safely make it to the property in the summer months. The cabin was spacious, comfortable, and the hot tub worked perfectly. The mountain views were even better than expected.You may notice a few spiders or cobwebs, which is to be expected in a mountain setting. Amenities aren’t nearby, so it’s best to come prepared. The hosts provided firewood and a propane grill, which was a thoughtful touch. WiFi was strong and reliable—great for working remotely.The cabin comfortably accommodated our group of nine for a bachelor trip, making for a memorable stay. Overall, this was a great value and I would recommend it to friends and family. One of my guests even mentioned they would rent the cabin again themselves.

  Our family, consisting of 9 adults and two dogs had a great time. The views are amazing. There was plenty of room for all of us and a nice big patio where we played a lot of pickle ball, corn hole and ladder game. Very relaxing and lots of privacy.Kitchen could have used a few more essentials like mixing bowls. Several smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were beeping and needed new batteries. Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable experience and we would not hesitate to go there again.

• Great location but could use some TLC

  You’re really paying for the location. The furniture and appliances are pretty warn down. If you have any issues with spiders then this is not the place for you. Also there are no curtains on most of the windows so you don’t have privacy. The light coming in will wake you up pretty early. Really the spiders were our biggest issue. The kids couldn’t sleep in the basement since the spiders were everywhere and in the beds. There was laundry left in the washer and dryer. We couldn’t use the washer because it smelled so bad. The jacuzzi is pretty old and most jets don’t work. Overall we had a good time but I don’t think it was worth the money paid.

• Great Communication, Great Patio

  This place is very secluded and my group had a great time. We had a minor issue and the owner was quick to respond and assist us. Backyard patio was great as well, with the gazebo next to it was our main hang out spot. Thanks again for having us!
