  House was ant infested. Deck was falling apart and unsafe. Great view but unsafe. If I had brought our young grandchildren I would not have felt safe letting play on the deck.House has nice kitchen and views but major decking repairs needs completed and sprayed to kill ants.I never give bad reviews but for what we paid for this rental my family was disappointed and felt we had not gotten what we had hoped for.

  Hi Jeff, we’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed your stay didn't meet your expectations and want to take a moment to address your concerns.
  - As soon as we were made aware of the problem with ants we contacted a professional pest control company. They have been to and treated the property twice to ensure the problem is resolved. As a follow up we have checked in with each guest since your stay and can confirm no further ant issues have been reported.
  - We followed up on your concerns and have had some boards replaced, but want to assure you that we have had the deck inspected by a licensed deck contractor and the deck was found to be safe and passed inspection. In addition, we wanted to share, we have plans to completely take out the deck and replace it with something new and upgraded and are still in the process of finalizing the details of what we will be doing for such a big and important project. We would love to have the opportunity to host you again in the near future and provide you with the 5-star experience we are known to provide our guests and that you truly deserve.

  When we got to the house we admired all of the beautiful sites and views from the house. Being from Florida, we are not used to this environment which made it a great experience. So much to do in this area, even hiking! Thank you for letting us stay!

• Amazing mountain getaway

  The house is tucked up in the mountains with an amazing view. We enjoyed coffee & brunch outside. The house has everything, including dishes for my toddler and a pack & play if we needed one. The owner was very responsive to questions throughout our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

• Beautiful place!

  We absolutely loved our stay! The house was just as pictured and the view from the deck was spectacular. We loved that the kitchen was big and spacious enough for us to make coffee and bagels for breakfast and hang out. The dining table was perfect for nights at home to cook and eat. Only downside during our stay was that it was raining most of the time, so we didn’t get to enjoy the deck as often as we thought we would. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

• Beautiful escape in the mountains

  We loved this property. Everything was exactly as pictured, the bed was super comfy, kitchen was excellently stocked, the view was unbeatable. Place was spotless and felt like we were visiting someone's home instead of a rental property. Loved that the kitchen was labeled, too - made it very easy to find everything.The best part was the location. We felt like we were far away in the mountains even though we were only a few minutes from Evergreen. Also loved the abundance of hiking trails just a few minutes from the property. Only piece of feedback is that the deck felt a little worn out and sketchy. There were parts where you could tell planks had been stepped through and we felt a little nervous walking around out there. A few more towels would also be nice for the rooms.Otherwise, we highly recommend this property and would love to stay again!
