Awesome getaway
5/5 This house was a good base of operations for touring various areas of Colorado. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed we used was comfortable. There is a view of the distant mountains from the kitchen, main bedroom, and main bathroom windows. There is a small deck that overlooks the small pond from the 2nd floor living level and a concrete patio with grill on the ground level. We saw cows in the development (but the fence keeps them off this property).This property is located off a dirt County Road (for about 3 miles). We didn't figure out till our last few days that it is better to go fast (25-30 mph) over that road to avoid the washboard effect in a few places. The two cattle gates were easy to open and chain lock.The owners are very pleasant and live close enough to handle any problems that might arise ... we didn't have any problems.I highly recommend this rental if your looking for a quiet, comfortable place to hang out. Most tourist things are within an hour or two drive. The furthest we went was the Rocky Mountain National Park which was just under 3 hrs away. The Denver airport is a little less than an hour. If you are into Casinos, our favorite was in Black Hawk ... but there are lots of them in Black Hawk, Cripple Creek, and Central City to choose from.

Awesome place!
5/5 Where to start! The property manager was very kind and communicative. Check in and out was a total breeze. It’s a bit of a drive from big city stuff but so worth it to see the sunrise and sunset, perfectly peaceful in every way, birds singing. The place was beautifully designed and furnished. Everything was spotless and except for me forgetting q tips, we had everything we needed!
