  Situated in the most serene location, this place has incredible small-town charm. The surrounding farmland makes this place even more relaxing and gives the perfect feeling of being unplugged from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

  Although my family and I stayed here because of the ideal location between Colorado Springs and Denver, we ended up spending an entire day going for walks around the neighborhood, discovering the restaurants in Elbert, and enjoying the house itself. The deck was our favorite part and my kids loved the view of the farm! They ate breakfast every morning on the deck while watching the farm animals.

  The rooms were all so clean (and I’m VERY picky) and my kids loved the bunk beds! There were all the necessary utilities and more.

  I highly recommend this place to anyone considering a peaceful stay in a great location! We will definitely be coming back!

  The entire property was not attended to and the descriptions were in accurate. The property has been neglected and some items have been incomplete or completed with items that are not a quality produce. The refrigerator is so dented and damaged that is is offensive. The stove was so dirty that I had to clean it before I would cook on it. The supply of drinking vessels was limited to mason jars. Mason jars are not everyone's choice of glassware. There was not fireplace on the deck, there was no fire pit on ground lever, there were no roaming stock on the property, therefore the opening and closing of the gate on the driveway was a waste of time. The condition of the driveway was extremely neglected. There was a water flow rut at the entrance that could have been easily graded so that cars did not drag bottom entering the property. The same can be said for the driveway, itself. It is in very poor condition. The parking area should be leveled, freed of the week condition and some kind of safety installed on the building side as there is a drop off on that side. There are numerous issues inside the unit. The best way to describe the conditions is that the entire unit needs updating and a good scrubbing and clean up with new paint and floors (they are very worn). The living room furniture needs to be replaced with another style that is actually comfortable to sit on.

• Peaceful setting

  We came out to visit our daughter for the weekend & wanted a quiet get away. The porch was amazing! We had coffee every morning and wine at night. The only thing is the second bedroom has a futon bed very uncomfortable for 2 adults. I knew this when I booked but some times futon beds are comfortable enough, this one is not. It would be fine for little ones. It definitely would have been 5 stars if they had a regular queen bed in the second room. My parents slept great in the other bed! Atmosphere was wonderful and we had dinner at a restaurant close by and food was delicious.
