2nd time here - We would stay here again
4/5 This was our second stay at this property. My first experience was better, but it was mostly due to policy changes by the Grand Lodge since last year.
Pros:
- Excellent location on Mount Crested Butte.
- Convenient free shuttle to downtown Crested Butte, with stops every 15 minutes right near the Grand Lodge.
- Fantastic ski valet service right at the base of the mountain.
- Enjoyable outdoor pool and hot tub area.
- Spacious 1-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit, larger than others at the Grand Lodge.
Cons:
- The building and unit are somewhat dated compared to some of the others around here, but the price reflects this.
- Guests booking through other platforms are treated differently by the Grand Lodge. For example, pool towels are now only provided to guests who book directly through them. Owners must supply towels separately. We only found two towels for four people, but thankfully we brought our own. We also arrived early to ski half-day, but the Lodge would not give parking passes out early since we did not book through them.

The unit met our needs, and we would stay here again
