  We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very comfortable. The contact person was always available. The kitchen was nice. It was very clean.

• It was not what we would expect

  Upon our arrival, we encountered difficulty entering the house. I reached out to the manager, who informed me that their system was experiencing issues, and she did not receive notification of our check-in. She provided a code to access the property, but it was not yet cleaned. Bedding sheets were scattered on the floor, and the bathroom was unattended. We waited for a couple of hours for the manager to arrive and clean the house. When it was almost bedtime for my preschooler, some bedding sheets were still left unwashed on the laundry room's floor. The manager did mention that she could come back the next day to finish the cleaning, but at this point, I decided to take care of the remaining cleaning myself.The owner of the house resided on the upper level, which did not usually cause any inconvenience. However, they had set their washing machine to operate every day at 3 am, which was directly above the bedroom where I slept. As a result, I was awakened every night at 3 am and could not fall back asleep until the machine stopped at approximately 5 am. If you are a lighter sleeper, the bedroom with the sauna definitely needs to be avoided. The house's location is ideal, as it is conveniently close to numerous places. Additionally, the neighborhood is peaceful and secure.In general, our stay was not enjoyable and I do not intend to reserve the same property if we return to Colorado Springs.

  We're very sorry that your experience did not live up to your expectations or our own.
  -This was the first time that our guests have ever had issues checking in; our host team, Evolve's notification system failed to let us know of your arrival which led to the unturned property. Our cleaner tried their best to get you checked in as soon as possible and because of the late hour, decided to return the following day to finish the cleaning. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and have passed this feedback to our team so it does not happen again.
  -Regarding the upstairs noises, we're unsure of the causes as we do not run the upstairs washer or dryer at such an early hour. It may have been the sprinkler system that caused it but even that only runs three times a week.
  As you can tell from our wonderful past reviews, we try our best to deliver great experiences and we regret that your stay was anything but that. We hope your next stay goes better.

• Fabulous basement space

  This rental has everything you're looking for in a vacation rental. The pictures are all accurate. This rental definitely wins on style points!! We got a lot of hours of fun out of the pool table, the TV set up is great, bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our only hiccup was that the check in instructions said there was a lock box on the front door, and the actual key is off the side of the house by a sliding door that enters in the basement. We especially appreciated the bar tools, the local recommendations and the box of charcuterie board recipes. It was just fun to sit on the couch and look at the pictures! Would for sure be back.

  Exactly as described, maybe even better. Was very nice, safe and clean. Plenty of mule deer to see everyday for sure. Very short drive to anything in town and close to all outdoor adventures as well. Highly recommend.
