5/5 Had a great time. House was fantastic to stay in. Clean and spacious. Beautiful view in the back yard. Plenty of Hot Water!!

5/5 My large family extended family was very pleased with this property. It was clean, spacious and well appointed. The ping pong table in the basement was a delightful surprise and well used during our stay. There are plenty of rooms which can comfortably contain the whole group or allow for private time or more personal conversations. The back patio with mountain views was the preferred choice to gather, eat and enjoy the lovely Colorado Springs weather. I had several questions which were answered in a prompt, friendly and professional manner. We all give this house a thumbs up and hope to return next year.
Disappointed with cleanliness and communication.
2/5 This house is not in a good neighborhood. Tons of cars parked all over the street and in yards. When we entered the property the back door was wide open.. after looking around we determined that it had been broken into. TVs, artwork, small kitchen appliances, and even toilet paper/paper towels taken. After multiple calls to the property manager, she and the home owner came over and brought a replacement coffee maker and paper towels. We still had to buy our own coffee and replace toilet paper in one of the bathrooms as there wasn’t enough for 6 adults. The next morning the home owner brought replacement TVs which was nice.
Cleanliness was a major issue. When we first arrived the floors were filthy, particularly in one of the guest bedrooms that had not been burglarized. Plastic clothing tags and a piece of dog food on the floor. My two year olds feet were black from running around inside the house. I went ahead and vacuumed the dirty areas and pushed it out of my mind considering the break in was a bigger issue at the time. However, upon checking out and stripping the sheets we found a white bodily fluid on a set of sheets (I’ll let your mind fill in the blanks on what that fluid likely was), making it apparent that they had not been washed prior to us using them. We understand that the break in was out of anyones control, but the dirty sheets was disgusting and unacceptable.
All of this was brought to the homeowner’s attention, in which he agreed that the cleanliness (or lack thereof) was unacceptable but he did not offer up any sort of refund at the time until I pressed the issue. He then stated he would refund the cleaning fee but did not reach out to the management company to initiate this for several days. I had to call Evolve several times to get the refund which was eventually given 4 days after checkout. I’m not confident that it would have been taken care of if I hadn’t called daily.
The house itself is spacious and has great potential, but our stay overall was unpleasant and we would not recommend staying here.
