• Would not recommend!

  We were excited to travel from out of state and spend 3 nights here with family. Unfortunately the place was not as advertised and was a huge disappointment...

  Positives- beautiful location, a lot of potential, good communication with the property contact (confirmation e-mail contact info was different than what was listed in the binder at the cabin so make sure you contact the right person if you have issues)

  Negatives-

  Hot tub- The hot tub was green, smelled like fish, there was no chlorine, it was only half full and the cover was broken in half when we arrived. We booked this location specifically to use the hot tub. Fortunately, after a lot of communication with the contact and pushing that we wanted it fixed... it was finally fixed but we were only able to use it for 1 of the 3 days we were there. They did replace the cover. They have not yet reimbursed us appropriately for this!!

  Cleanliness- This place could use a good deep cleaning. It doesn't appear the lights or mantle have ever been cleaned and were coated in grease and dead bugs/gnats. There were boxes of cereal in the closet with expiration dates of Dec 2023.

  SAFETY- Caution to families with children! The railing on the deck over looking the valley/driveway has spindles that are broken and wobbly. We had to constantly watch our children and keep them away from the railing. The management company only said "the owner is aware". Very dangerous!

  We would definitely avoid Evolve Prop Mgmt in the future!

• Better in pictures

  The photos look great and the space and location are very nice! It was not as clean as I felt it should be, especially considering there was a $300 cleaning fee. The comforters were dirty so I spent the first few hours doing laundry. The grill was such a mess we didn't even want to use it. There were dishes that were supposed to be clean in the dishwasher but they still looked dirty. I ran it again and the cups were still dirty so I think the dishwasher must be broken. I ended up washing them by hand. The house was truly a great space - it just needs a deep cleaning! The well water has done some damage to the bathrooms but some scrubbing and a new shower curtain would be helpful!

• Stunning Views!

  The views are to die for! We enjoyed exploring the dirt roads where we found a gorgeous reservoir about a mile down the road. In addition this was a reconnecting trip with the family and it felt great to just relax and enjoy this beautiful home. A couple minor issues like broken blinds in the basement and towel racks but the property manager reassured us that it is being taken care of. We would definitely return to this property 🙂
