  • Northstar Village Weekend

Room was adequate. Our adult son joined us. Due to I-80 closing, we had to spend the first night in Auburn. Basic accommodations with no extra towels other than one for each of us. For three nights another bath towel would have been nicer. Instant coffee option. Beds were comfortable. Good for weekend stay. Reached out to property manager prior arrival regarding possibility of extra 30 minutes to check out. No response. We ended up leaving much earlier due to storm concerns. Sliding glass door does not lock.

  • Simple and nice

We were happy to have found this spot and been able to stay in the village when we were visiting for a wedding. Fairly bare bones, but everything we needed for a brief stay.

  • Great Location

If you are looking to be right in the Northstar Village walking distance to shopping, food, entertainment and gondola this is the place. Looks very close to the picture. At first sight it was clean with normal wear and tear on the carpet. It has a cozy cabin feel with pine siding and pine furniture. The beds were queens and the sheets were clean and comfy. The bathroom was pretty small but also clean. Cons would be the kitchen unit and patio. The kitchen unit was like in a hotel. It was set inside the closet and contained a small old fridge, small old Microwave and small old toaster oven. It had a few cups to heat up tea or water but no dishes or silverware. The only way to wash your dishes is in the bathroom sink. This will only be a problem if you need to cook something. Other than that you will need to eat out in the village or order in. The patio was nice but it over looked the parking lot and construction. It was definitely a plus to leave the door open for fresh air. It did have an air conditioning but it was a bit loud and blew right on your head while sleeping. Not the owners fault there was no where else to put the unit and it was definitely nice to have during the hot days. We also found that the TV set up was quite difficult to figure out at first. We had to call the desk but found directions in the draw later on. All in All it was a clean place to stay. Perfect for a night or two. It’s just like staying in a regular two bed hotel room. Gavin was really hard to get ahold of at first, however we found he’s easier to talk with over text. He’s a really nice guy and was willing to work with us during check-in and check-out times. We give the unit a solid 4 out of 5 stars…..
