  Overall it was pretty comfortable, however, the kitchen needs a larger refrigerator, the power shuts off when running two appliances, toaster, coffee maker, the TV in one of the rooms needs to be changed out as it is not a very smart TV, it is outdated. Parking is horrible, the owners were kind enough to allow us to park in the driveway. Otherwise it was ok.

  Was in very crowded street area where very little parking is available. That caused us anxiety. Evolve stepped up to help us where we were able to park right there in front of the garage, and didn't have to worry about parking blocks away, which would have made us very unhappy. It IS a small apartment with no views and no access to any outside area and very little common space to stretch out and maybe watch TV. Folks just need to be aware of this. It IS a great place to just come "home" to, shower, and go to sleep. Both bedrooms had TVs, which were horrible to try and figure out, and I consider myself a tech type guy. I did figure out how to get some oddball stations and shows, and we weren't in the unit that long anyway to even watch TV. But it was difficult. The kitchen had most of what we needed, but it is small, and there isn't much in the way of stuff you might need in a kitchen. But, we knew that going in, as there is only a small microwave, small frig, coffeemaker, kettle, and a pot or two. We only had breakfast there, before we would go out for the whole day. We were there 5 nites. Bedding was fine and beds were comfy. When we first got there, there were several issues, and, upon calling Evolve, they took care of them quickly, which was very much appreciated. The BIGGEST complaint is that the coffeemaker had old grinds and MOLD in it. They replaced it the next evening, so I had no coffee for two days. I wondered how much more the cleaning folks may have missed....We made do. All in all, the experience was OK. However, not sure we would stay in that area again nor in this unit. The nice bedding and the few issues made this a 4 rating overall. If not for the niceness of the owner to address our concerns and the nice bedding and the quietness of the place, we would have rated this a 3.

• Great Stay

  A friend of mine and I took a few days to watch some baseball and play golf in San Francisco and used this place as our base. Conveniently located to public transit and accessible to all parts of the peninsula. Very quiet neighborhood and the communication with property management was stellar.
