• We love the place, but..

  We loved the location and the upstairs floor; however, we had respiratory problems on the lower floor, where the humidity was high, and it was hard to sleep. I wish Evolve had mentioned how to fix this; we saw a lot of heaters and maybe air purifiers the day after; we want to; we were told we had to use them, or at least I wish these were turned on before our arrival. Also, most towels smell moist, as if they have been wet for too long and were old.

  Hi Monica, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize for any issues you encountered during your trip. After reviewing your feedback, we reached out to the homeowner, who provided the following clarifications:
  -We are truly sorry to hear about the breathing issues you experienced with the humidity and any challenges with operating the heater or humidifier. We wish you had reached out to us, as we would have been happy to assist. Instruction manuals for both devices are located in the top drawers of the oak dressers. Unfortuanltey, the instruction pamphlets were missing during my recent visit. we'll have new copies printed and ensure they are available for future guests.
  -While we make every effort to ensure that the house cleaner or property manager turns on the heater and humidifier the day prior to a guest's arrival, there are occasions when cleaning is scheduled one or two days in advance, depending on availability and scheduling needs. In such cases, it may not always be possible to prepare these appliances right before check-in. It's also important to note that the space typically maintains a comfortable environment, and dampness is only experienced during periods of significant rainfall.
  We are committed to providing the best possible experience for all our guests and look forward to welcoming many more satisfied guests, as reflected in our previous and recent reviews.

  We were there as a party of 3, a couple and a single friend we were hosting from Florida. Our friend was just coming up from San Diego where she attended a meditation retreat and we live in busy San Francisco, and we wanted her to spend her time with us in a more serene environment, thus the hillside haven

  She stayed in the downstairs quarters, which has its own private deck. She was in bliss!!

  We also had an upstairs massive deck to enjoy. The house feels like a tree house, with views out over the creek and hills beyond.

  Our dog was very happy as well.

  We decided to all relax there again next year.

• Amazing Property!

  The pictures tell the story. It is an amazingly beautiful property with a gorgeous view. We've stayed there before and had only one concern then and the same one this time. Ants in the kitchen and bathroom.
